Think about it guys. Halo has been popular for over 8 years as an amazing FPS, partly because we "are all spawned equally". in class based games like CoD, it depends on how long you've been playing rather that your own skill, i can't tell you how many times i've frustratedly threw down my controller in CoD as i was slaughtered by a guy with a more powerful weapon than me. in Halo, we all start out with the same weapon and it's your skill and knowledge of the game that helps you to come out on top. Bungie won't change an award-winning format, no matter what some kid on this forum may say.

Your in Bad Company.

I agree. Kind of pointless to point that out, but I agree 100%

I mean, just mentally compare yourself and how you played halo before you played online.

When I played COD4 online, it was just a matter of who shot first really. In halo, their are a ton of ways to win a battle even if you don't shoot first.

Call of Duty is not a true class-based game. Your entire argument is null and void.

But its close enough (for me anyways) that its redundant to argue otherwise. I mean, what do you have in comparison that's close to its system? Class based gaming.

okay then, what is your defintion of a class based game?

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

Call of Duty has customizable weapon load-outs, not classes. Class-based games have classes that are not customizable, and are usually very balanced amongst each other. Team Fortress 2 is an example of a class-based game.

Your argument is void because because you stated that "in class-based games like CoD, it depends on how long you've been playing", which is false, because Call of Duty is not a class-based game. Therefore, your entire argument is based on false information, which makes it null and void.

hehehehehehe

I wouldn't use CoD as an example there... seeing as you start the game with some of the most accurate guns you'll get in CoD4. TF2 would be a better example; no class is better than the other, and everyone has a fairly equal chance of winning as each class has certain abilities designed for certain tasks. A class system would actually make a lot of sense- Linda was the best sniper in the novels, Fred was more of a CQB kind of guy, Kelly weas the fastest, Will was demolitions, and James was the tank of them. If they could integrate that all in there I think it could actually turn out quite well!

i concede to you the point. kinda. my argument is not void, because i basically just used CoD as an example. no matter what CoD is or isn't, Reach wont be a class based game, it ruins the whole experience.

and no, i don't work for bungie. im just using past knowledge to make an educated guess.

I still want to see a class system. It depends on what kind it is. I don't realy play COD, but if its classes suck then it needs to fix them. Classes can work in Halo.

Well I'm just saying, don't use Call of Duty as an example of a class-based game, because it isn't.

And how do you know it would ruin the whole experience? It could be the best thing that could ever happen to Halo for all you know.

i'll put it this way. CoD is CoD. Battlefront/TF2 are Battlefront/Tf2. And Halo is a FPS where we are all equally spawned. let's keep it that way.

Dude I don't care and my grammer is perfect.I used "Big", as you recall it to mak is specific."to not do...",is incorrect beause "do" is present tense/perfect(or future) when it was a past tense.

it's not halo 4, so bungie is probably going to change up the formula at least a little bit. The differences in the spartans in the banner are quite emphasized. There is every reason to believe that this will be a class based game.

unlockable weapon classes are for cheap losers that cant win with just their own skill. Instead, they no-life their way through the levels, get a powerful weapon, and cheaply own with it. I agree 100 percent of what you are saying in this forum. If they put classes in halo i would sew bungie
You would sew them a dress?
