Honor Light Your Way, Our Blood Shall Forge A Thousand Generations!.
Okay, so lately I've noticed suggestions about "Time Travel".
Apparently, some people think that the MC went back in time at the end of Halo 3, during the Ark's explosion.
I'm here to make some valid points.
1.) Ark Explosion = Worm Hole that convienently takes the MC back to Reach? C'mon, no way.
2.) Time travel itself is just plain stupid, and I honestly hope to God Bungie does not even suggest it.
3.) Just because the planet at the end of Halo 3 looks like Reach, it doesn't mean anything. There ARE other planets, you know.
EDIT:
4.) For anyone whose seen the Reach teaser trailer, you'll notice multiple MAC array guns orbiting the planet. In the Halo 3 Legendary ending, there are none. Even if the MC is at Reach, and it wasn't time travel at all, the Debris would still be there. Which it's not. And don't even suggest the UNSC went there to clean it up, because that's just retarted.
5.) If they DID go back in time, there would be two MC's. The original, and the one from the past. That's just plain, downright FREAKING STUPID! Can you honestly picture two Master Chief's fighting in Reach? There'd be two Cortana's, too. Seriously. Use common sense.
6.) On the Reach teaser, it states "From the beginning, you know the end." This leads me to believe that Halo 3 was the END of the trilogy. Maybe Bungie added the spooky Legendary ending to make us all jumpy. They do things like that.
EDIT:
7.) Seriously, if you're suggesting that Bungie is sending the MC back to the ruins of Reach, only to look at the battlefield and have flashbacks of what happened like in ODST, that's idiotic. First of all, Bungie wouldn't have the same concept twice, because they're more original than that. Plus, Reach's atomosphere was destroyed during it's being glassed, and the MC doesn't have an infinite supply of oxygen. Also, while roaming Reach, there would be absolutely no enemies to fight, besides the Flashbacks. Use your heads, guys.
Those are all my points for now. Bleh.
