Halo: CE, A game of great competetivity. You could do things from having crazy, fast-paced "Capture The Flag" games, to riding around in Warthogs and off of any object around the map.

Then, came along Halo 2, the new BR, but a less powerful, no-scope pistol. We had the ability to daul-wield, and had many more rapid-fire weapons. Not too much competetivity with all the new rapid-fire weapons and maps.

Presently, we have Halo 3, Assault Rifle starts, and a variety of weapons around the map, most being daul-wieldable and rapid-fire weapons. There are many symmetriczl and asymmetrical maps, but the weapons and power-ups make it kind of hard for even gameplay.

In the future, we are going to have this new game, Halo: Reach. We are still unsure of anything about this game. I believe that since we've had one game where competitive gamers were in favor, and 2 where casual gamers were in favor, competitive gamers are rightfully do another game along the style of Halo CE.

Competetive gaming style would be great for everyone, casual gamers could hook onto the learning-curve and become more competitive + better at the game.

Competitive games would mean that to be really good you will have to play for a few hours each day. Something which casual gamers won't do. This will further increase the gap between really good players and random noobs.

Competitive? That is MLG's job. Once the game comes out they will figure out a way to make the game "more competitive" by making their own gametypes.

It will not increase the gap. There will be a ranking system silly goose. There will be no gap if people are matched up against people that are their own rank.

Second acct: RC Zerg Rushes

I would like a game with proper weapon balancing, Halo 3's level of customization, a large player skill gap and a matchmaking system that matches people up with people of their skill. This would satisfy both the competitive and casual community.
