why would they put so much effort into www.ilovebees.com? i mean, have u actually seen the site? real ppl, real facts, real stuff. I bring myself to imagine how big whatever there advertising is if they put so much freaking time into a site we could have never seen.

because we wouldnt have found it if it wasnt for that person who had just got an account that day! (below is something i found... odd)

Amazing facts!
Hive-Ku
The Fable of the Bee
The Myth of Comatas
Bee-licious Chocolate Chip Cookies
MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY
Getting muddled here. Sick, obviously.

Broken inside. Not thinking straight.

Got to go back to first principles.

Survive evade reveal escape.

Survive-well, I'm not dead yet.
Evade-don't want to evade. I want to be FOUND.

...unless...

...of course, if I am behind enemy lines, then constantly shouting for help wouldn't be the smartest play in the world, would it?

got to run silent. got to run deep.

hide and go seek

Honey Butter
Honey Roasted Carrots

Bungie knows how obsessive their fans are and that they would not miss something like that. Also, Bungie is obsessive so would gladly spend many hours with that site.

And I'm fairly sure Strykur (the guy who first posted the bees) is not with Bungie.

we would have found out, not me personally, but alot of really hardcore fans would have picked up on it, i've read several posts of people saying strykur beat them to the first post, so he is irrelavent

but ive been on that site for a hell of a long time. They have pictures, records, emails. how?

I find it hard to imagine that "we could have never seen" the site, since they put it in a movie trailer (that quick flash from xbox.com to ilovebees.com on a movie screen would be more noticeable than in the ones you can view on the 'net), and a great many Halo fans went far out of their way to see it at theaters miles (sometimes hundreds of miles) from the movie theaters they'd normally visit.
You suggest the site has "real (people), real facts, real stuff," but there is enough curious content, and the fact that no one in these forums has actually made any contact with the girl making the "help" posts on blogger or the aunt whose site is in "jeopardy" suggests that it is an elaborate, hype-making ploy by Microsoft and Bungie for something. Maybe Halo 2, maybe something else....
The first hint that suggests fishiness is the very first person who posted a thread about it here, strykur. He joined and posted the ilovebees thread almost immediately and now hasn't been heard from for a while. He may mean nothing, but it made people suspicious enough to investigate further, and the snowball has grown since then. Boy, has it grown!
We'll probably know a lot more by Monday night, as the site's "network throttling will erode."

The bit about Strykur is not "fishY" I already explained. He probably just joined to post what he found, but he has posted since.

why the hell is everybody so hiped up over a release date? I mean seriously, if it comes out on august 24th, then it does, and if it comes out on november 9th, then it does. It's not anything special people, I mean, we've waited 3 years for halo 2, and I bet that we can wait for a couple of months more if needed. I dont care when it comes out as long as it DOES come out. Feel me on this people?

Plus, all of you (even myself) need to learn to have a little bit more paitence, not only that, but everybody is also entitled to there own opinion, so dont flame someone else, just cuz you dont agree with his/her opinion...

Templar: Which is why I edited it, my good man. I didn't say he hadn't posted since, just not as much. Sorry if I wasn't entirely clear on my meaning there.

P.S. Thanks, J-117.
