the count down has got to be the time when they stop selling it

You do realise that the CaféPress store could just be someone cashing in on the excitement generated by ilovebees.com.

they probably struck a deal with bungie

 • 07.25.2004 5:10 PM PDT

The only way to find out is to buy one!
Which I'm not going to do, as the font looks just a little too wrong to be a Bungie-made thing.
You all go ahead and tell me what happens.

if it wasn't for bungie they wouldn't have it on the trailer

 • 07.25.2004 5:13 PM PDT

Buying one won't prove anything (because of the way CaféPress works).

if its just a shirt there is no point in talking about it so freakin much

You're missing the whole point. If it isn't genuine then people are being misled, which isn't very nice. Besides, you started the thread.

no, how would they have the shirts made in time to take the picture to put up at cafepress...somehow knowing what was about to happen with the ilovebees.com site and everything...the shirts were DEFINATELY made by bungie, I dont see how a person could make all these products within a day of the whole controversy

btw are you really a moderator?

hey man, its 'you're'

um and what makes you even say that? if you think a halo fan made a shirt, hat, sticker, and whatever else they have on that site within a day of all that shxt happening, you are highly overestimating the motivation, resources, and intelligence of MOST people. ill hand it to ya, its possible but HIGHLY unlikely

and dont call people you dont know 'not too bright'
it makes you look like a jackass

although it would be hard to make shirts in a day, you cant just ignore the fact that the shirt looks incredibly amateurish. i could whip up a picture like that in 10 minutes.

notice its just a publicly available wallpaper with fan made 'halo font' with a line from ilovebees.com stuck on to make it look like one giant conspiracy.

i think bungie would be a little more original than that.

they still had to get their permission or risk being sued and how else would it be on the trailer

 • 07.25.2004 5:50 PM PDT

Obviously none of you know how CaféPress works. You just set images to be used on various items and they print them up for you as they're ordered, and ship them out. You don't make anything.
