looks like my fable 2 hero lol

I love the entire Halo series, Halo 2 being my favorite of the games. I think that the universe is compelling and the story is deep, sweeping, and powerful. The hidden layers in the Halo trilogy and rich details of the backstory in the novels are something I love to be lost in, and im greatly looking forward to the story that Halo: Reach will weave. Bungie has carefully and lovingly crafted a mythic tale that will stay etched in my mind until the end.

Master Chief has not been in a Cryo tube long enough for it to dramatically effect his age.

Like the novels imply, Master Chief is indeed in his forties. He was born in the year 2511, and the Halo trilogy is set around 2552. That means that the Master Chief is about 41 years old.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_Chief_(Halo)

His face probably resembles a 40 year old like these CG pictures, but his body performs like a 25-30 year old because of the genetic enhancements. Like i said before, Master Chief as not spent enough time in cryo-sleep for it to affect him greatly.

You people are making this into a bigger deal than what it really is. If these pictures posted are false, the real thing probably isnt far off.

Are you kidding? They could be much farther off, IE him having hair, not having wrinkles (They have showed people in the game older then 40 and they didnt have wrinkles) a small change in skin color, lighter or darker, nothing major, and scars or something.

The pictures have been proven false, cause an artist who is a fan posted it, no one that works for bungie. For all we know he will never get a face.

It is a 3D rendering of the facial structure. Generally, it will NOT have hair, it will NOT have blemishes such as freckles or scars, and it will NOT have the correct skin color. If however the creator puts more time into it, they can add all of those things. The creator of this model just wanted to show the basic idea of what HE THINKS Master Chief looks like. This is merely a personal opinion.
Bungie has said in the past that they most likely will not release a picture of what the Master Chief actually looks like. This is the increase the illusion that the Master Chief is actually you. Which, in my opinion, is kind of dumb but oh well.

I was just trying to show the guy I quoted that he was wrong in saying it couldnt of been far off from what he looks like. None of us really know how long the artist spent on this design so this could be the exact way he pictured Master Cheif and how he hopes he looks, however when the guy I quoted said that he thinks they wouldnt be far off, I proved that he could look alot more different.

And it is dumb, but I think everyone wants to see a face behind that mask, even just eyes or something.

I wasn't directly attacking you or anything. I just found a conversation that looked like it went with what I had to say and quoted it.

"The strength of the pack is the wolf, the strength of the wolf is the pack."

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me..."

ODST for life

Looks like pretty cool concept art, can't wait to see some of the artwork Bungie has produced for the project.

i agree on what his body looks like...
but the face is buggin me.
he wouldn't be bald and since there was no break between halos 2 and 3, so he'd probably have some stubble

This is for Halo Reach though...right?

Idk, I found it like 2 weeks after Halo 3: ODST. Could be older though.

I saw this before Halo 3 was announced.

Props to the guy who did the 3D rendering, one thing though, the MC has a huge horizontal scar on his left cheek, you should probably add that.....

Look out.... -boom- (headshot)
I told you to look out, but know, you got in my way, was going to shoot that splaser....

He IS only 21 or so, the Spartans were hand picked at Childhood (read Halo: Fall of Reach) The operation, steroid like products, physical and mental enhancements, etc, caused the Spartans to Mature at a rapid pace, while their "-blam!-" desires were knocked why out of the picture.

According to the books the First Halo game took place over a period of 4-5 horror filled days, the Battle of Reach took place for around 6-7 days, total. Which includes the time the Master Chief spent at Halo, he returned to Reach to save his Team.

READ THE BOOKS <----- this should be in my sig....

can't be hn because he has freckles and brown eyes as the description from DR. Halsey says. Also he has black hair, but then again he is in the army, where they shave your hair.
People seem to always take this description literally. When you get older, freckles tend to fade away and hair color changes. Not only that, it is probable that their hair color could have also changed as a side effect of the augmentations.

exactly, in the book it said that one of the Spartan's, due to the operations and etc, hair was streaked with a silvery like colour.

The books dictate that he is white.

I wish people would read, but I know FOR A FACT that the average Halo fan can't even order off of a McDonald's menu.

These are not official renders. They were done by a guy (Kolby Jukes) who wanted to create his own concept of what he thinks the Chief would look like. Personally, I think the guy got him totally wrong, what with all the weird face-contours, but I guess he was just wanting to show off his modelling skills. In fact, the guy works for Bioware, modelling for the Mass Effect games.

Bottom line: not official in the slightest.

(P.S. I will say though, he did stick with the general canon factors; John-117 is white, according to the novels.)

Why did you re post this??
Read the forum it explains where the pics come from.
These are not official renders if thats what you're trying to prove, i know this for a fact.
