there is way too much spamming of grenades in halo 3. i often see people totally give up the option to pull RT when the baby blue circle at the center of there screen turns red. instead they prefer to be some sort of human mortar, chucking every shield destroying grenade they have in there inventory. its not funny having all of theses explosives flying through the air all of the time making me one shot. if i wanted to be one shot all the time i would play team swat.
i think in halo: reach there we should only be able to carry one of each grenade type. after we die our grenades should disappear rather quickly if our killer doesnt pick them up. there should be less grenades that spawn on the map and they shouldnt respawn so quickly.that would help reduce the amount of to be spammed. grenades should be treated as a support weapon, used only used in certain situations like for taking out a guy in sword room or damaging a team guarding there flag. if you limit the grenades then people might actually save them and and put some thought into using them.
melee in halo 3 is too powerful. its so easy to do, its knocks out shields, you spawn with it, it never runs out of ammo, it comes with a small lunge ability (seems huge), any oh yeah its consequence free.
in reach it should melee should be nerfed to only take out a quarter of your shields. also there shoould be no lunge or aim assist for it meaning it will take a little more skill to pull off.
