Bungie, please, bring back this feature from halo 2. it made split screen ten times more fun. (I mean not all your friends aren't halo players, they aren't gonna be pro from the begining) Offline only though to prevent boosting. Imagine if your buddy who likes fps games came over. He sucks. you have to go super easy on him, its not fun for you or him. he eventally realisees your not trying and loses his confidence and decided he does not want to plat any more. Hanicap makes things better

For those of us who never took advantage of the handicap system, might you explain how it worked?

Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

It made you weaker. Weaker shields, weaker damage and stuff.

thus you could play split screen with nooby friends and everyone could have fun. Everyone could give it thier all and it would still be a close game. I have no Idea why they took this out of halo 2.

If by next-gen you mean crappy, dark and colorless, I agree. It doesnt look next-gen at all.

They should just make it that your shields are weaker.

And wasn't it like
Minor: A little less shield, little less damage.
Moderate: medium
Major: Half shields, a lot less damage.

I remember even 5-10 year old noobs could beat me when I used Major. Shooting them twice with rockets did nothing, hitting them 4 times with sniper wasn't enough etc. They killed me with 2 BR shots. Frustrating, but balanced.

no trust me that is not a good idea. think a friend from cod land came to play h3 for his first time. it takes him a long time to adjust. One of these by themselves is not an effective handicap. You'll still be a beast if you have one. It wouldn'y make a differance at all. you'd be better off just using a minor handicap.

Minor: 3/4 shield, 3/4 damage.
Moderate: 2/4 shields, 2/4 damage.
severe: 1/4 shield, 1/4 damage.

Never heard the name. It's been a few years since I used XBC last time.

Well most of the time I was some sort of target for everyone so it isn't so easy to evade everyone. Plus when everyone kills everyone else they get points quite easily.

But yeah, really useful for Reach. The Leader traits of Halo3 are just pathetic replacement
