Well what i was thinking was along walls you wouldnt get much speed bonus or reduction due to the wall stopping the wing as it hits it. Out in the open you would have to pay attention and once you figure out which way the wind is moving plan your movements to go with the wind as to not have as much hinderence and also make you harder to hit....

Also it would be funny to watch you running towards someone and as soon as your shield drops to jump up into the air and fly back 10 feet.

Id like to see them make games on portable small harddrives so that we could store as much info as possible and the xbox would only use what it needed from the HD.

This is a completely awesome idea and definetly one that Bungie should take into consideration. This is the kind of stuff that people have been waiting for years to happen. If Bungie did this they would slightly make up for downgrading the rocketlauncher and the magnum.*snivel* I'll never forgive them for that.lol.

The ODST pistol has to return... or at least the CE pistol. But with different ammo..

my real problem with this thread is that so many of the ideas involved affect gameplay too much... even affecting visiblity is kinda a bit much for me, but i won't complain if they add that. so, speeding up/slowind down due to wind? ehh, i don't think i like this idea very much.

Ok well what about Uncharted 2's multiplayer? They have rain effects that dont effect visibility. The main point here is to add new dynamic properties to maps so that even if you play them 5 times in a row, which happens in multiplayer, you can get a fresh new feel when playing each time. First time might be at night, second time; daytime with rain, third time; snow in the evening.. etc.

I dont care if it effects gameplay or not.. we just need a way to keep maps fresh even after you play them over and over again..

Of course it can happen.. ask TM

don't go crazy guys. In a vid (probably Tierra Incognita) it was stated that the programmers couldn't put in rain. It was just impossible.
Maybe Bungie needs to revamp it's engine a lot. or completely?
However their approach to atmosphere, lighting and sound in ODST proved effective. if they apply that to REACH. Than i will buy it for all my friends birthdays. JUST to give Bungie more money.

I will spend more time in Halo Reach and set off on a mission to find all the easter eggs in the game. [Which probably won't happen :( ] I will try anyway and someday succeed.

Thats not a bad idea because it will switch things up a little and make the game more fun. But on the other hand it will be pushing it.

Pushing what? The performance capabilities of Reach's engine or the 360?

bullet shifting is a horrible idea, thats not halo at all... if bullet shifting was in reach i would kill myself, it would ruin the game

Well then I guess you should read where I specifically said "bullet shifting was just an idea to get the concept I am talking about across to you guys and I in NO WAY think bullet shifting should be implemented into gameplay."

Ive stated this 23927498268 times IN the original post and 1343248328473282 since then. Not sure if you cant read, or just selectively skim over certain parts because you are lazy, but either way.. you fail sir.
