Halo 1- It was one of the best games I have ever played. I grew up in the Halo 2 generation so I was unable to have the full (LAN) experience of Halo 1. I still occasionally play the game today.
Halo 2- I still, just like Halo 1, play the game ever now and then. Halo 2 was the game that made me buy a Xbox. The custom games that were played on that were fun and new. I also loved the little amount of barriers and death barriers.
Halo 3- One of THE most over-hyped games I can think of (behind Gears 2 of course). The Campaign did not have the epic feeling I wanted, the multiplayer had, and still has, many problems with it. The Forge option was new and fun, plus it allowed for much more customization of the game.
Halo 3 ODST- I was looking forward to this game but I reminded myself not to over-hype it like Halo 3. The game boosts an average campaign length (I would have LOVED a longer campiagn), Firefight, and new weapons. The campaign although short (opinion) it was fun, new, and interesting. Firefight was pretty fun while it lasted. It followed down Gears of War 2's path. The new weapons were cool and fun. The AutoMag is just about everyone's favorite weapon, although its power is weak. The SMG is now silenced and more powerful. Nuff' said.
Overall I personally think that if Halo 1 had online ability it would have been the best of the 3 Halo's. I am going to have to go with Halo 2 due to me growing up with it (YAY BIAS) and that I had enjoyed much time on that game.
My other account (which I played Halo 2 on) is Funnymann.
