Fight to your death!

Each Halo has made some pretty considerable jumps, i.e halo 1 wasn't online. Halo 2 was. Halo 3 is essentially halo 2 on steroids with an insane amount of customizable options, mostly geared towards the zombie mode gametypes. Halo 3 also introduced the mode eliminatio, although short lived it was a fresh take. And ODST brought about firefight. ( Which is wait for it, Legen...........dary!)

So what is the jump from halo 3- Reach going to be like?

Steering clear of modes like slayer, team slayer,CTF,and oddball. What if we think outside of this box and bring about some new modes/gametypes?

Two ideas I had which in some way shape or form could resemble or be ideas that other people have posted in the past( for this I apologize I just wish to share an opinion) are as follows:

Generator Mode/ Gametype. Blue team and Red team each have a generator on their side of the map. We will say Valhalla for example. At each base is a generator with X amount of health that sustains it's teams shields. So the goal of the game is to reach the 100 kill limit by taking down the health of this generator, because when you do the opposing team is left shieldless for a brief amount of time. Say 1-2 minutes.
Therefore making kills in that time frame easy.

It would make for some interesting tactics and strategies.( EXAMPLE do you use your rockets on enemies or take long distance shots to destroy their generator.Same goe for Sniper bullets) To destroy said generator all you would have to do is shoot it, throw grenades, rockets, laser, and beatdowns.

Similar to this you could have the exact same gametype, but all you have to do is destroy the other teams generator and you win.....kind of a race to see who can kill the other teams first. It would be like Flag except you have to defend your"flag" and shoot the other teams "flag."

Last, but not least mixing already tried and true gametypes. Slayer up to 50 kills and when one team reachs 50 kills the other teams flag spawns. i.e the score is 50-37 for blue..... so red team's flag appears and blue has to cap it. But now red can get to 50 easier because blue team will be coming to them to grab the flag. If both teams reach 50 its become CTF.

First team to get 2 caps wins. Again you could use a map such as Valhalla for example. Anyways thats just my ramblings. Good ideas? Bad Ideas? What are some of your ideas?

This make me think of the retard guy who killed himself so he could assassinate Jesus, Most likely the only good religion has done.

As for the generator idea, I believe they had something like that in one of the Quake games. Though it wasn't as elaborate as this, just when you destroyed the 3 nodes/generators you had won. Please correct me if I am wrong.

an EXTREMELY rediculas amount of options so you could have games like cat and mouse and lava man

i was thinking of like a one sided VIP game, 6v6, where the defense is

VIP: Prophet
1 elite
1 brute
2 jackals
2 grunts

Attackers:

1 spartan
2 Odsts
3 marines

could work for 2 sided as well i suppose

Scandinavian Master Race!

I have one idea instead of one flag you can have three flags to defend. If the other team capture flag 1 they get that spawn area where flag 1 was.
