The one thing that bothered me about the Halo 3 matchmaking system was that once the match was started you couldn't leave without XP loss. In my opinion the COD 4 matchmaking style is far superior. If given bad teammates, team killers, or a majority of AFK players you could leave no punishment and someone would take your place. In many other circumstances you need to leave your xbox and your out if luck of the match has already started. If the first point is not considered we should at least be able to leave the pregame lobby.

Um... I like Halo? I don't really know what to say. I'm a student at the moment, I hope to become a criminal profiler, and I enjoy pretty much everything as long as it's good.

Honestly that is one of the worst ideas ever. That is the one thing I hate most about COD4.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

No, otherwise quitting would be an even bigger issue than it currently is.

93% of statistics are lies. Formerly Xfire Grunt. Unfortunately, you can't change the WLID for your BNET account, so I had to create an alternate account. My other WLID was spam city (and it was my e-mail account too).

Quitting isn't an issue in COD.

This works for SOCIAL games only. Not for ranked. I could care less in social. Faster MM times and less quitting problems? Whats not to like?

That could be a possibly but COD 4 doesn't have a large quitting problem in the matchmaking. Their is always game types or maps that people don't like and should they be forced to play the game if they dislike the type? In COD 4 i hate Count Down and in that game i have the freedom to leave the game no strings attached, but with Halo 3 i dislike Sand Box and if not vetoed i have to play it.

Wherever you roam
so far from home
you'll be safe from peril
life threatening and terrible
if you avoid David Powel
and keep track of your towel.

Quitters are more annoying than teamkillers to me. But teamkillers should get harsher penalties (like getting booted for teamkilling often gets you suspended and eventually banned) and the teamkiller boot system should be better (it should offer to boot only if the teamkiller has teamkilled multiple times and should offer the option repeatedly, and heavily damaging teammates which leads to their death at enemies hands should also count as at least half a teamkill). Plus I like the idea of being forced to recognize multiplayer matches as discreet units, not lengths of playtime between searches.

In short I picked your biased 1st option.
