Stuffz....

For example:

You start a MP match with a clean suit.

During combat you take damage (and taking damage animation could be better, like, if you're under alot of fire, you should actually get stunned in there for a few seconds due to the bullets impact, this would make the game more tactical), anyway, your suit should take damage.

Or for another example, you're playing compaing and you happen to run over mud, you should actually have mud in your suit afterwards.

Throw ideas that would make it more realistic.

Well the thing wiht that is it would be WAY too complicateed...Bungie would need to programme the game to realise that you could only get muddy or take damage when your shields are down because MJOLNIR shields wouldn't let mud get past them etc.

Yes but the blood isn't ON you... The blood comes out of you and then disappears after a while...Damage to you would need to stay there until death and would, i imagine, be difficult to programme...But hey, what do i know about programming?

Same, but I've seen similiar features in other games before, so it can't be too hard...

However I do consider taking damage to your suit something hard to programme.

Damage is easy, you just have a few different meshes and swap them out according to a script. The hard part there is getting it to work online with no lag.

As for dirt, mud etc - that's harder than people think. If you want it realistic, you'd have to make like 100 different textures for separate mud patterns and heights, make them able to be used together, make the engine have different properties for each interactive surface (which it already does, but not to that extent)...it takes a while to program in.

Well, we gave them enough money during the past years for them to have everything they need to do so.

And we kinda deserve it...
