I think the Halo reach pic is 5 spartans. all with different weapons looks like. I think the multiplayer will be based around this. one spartan is known for sniping, one for heavy equipment, yada yada yada. yall get the point. i think you'll get to choose which character you wanna play as for that match. i know it would sure as hell put more variety into the game instead of jackasses arguing and betraying over the sniper rifle. If they use this system they will of course have to find a way to put balance into the game. its similar to this in killzone 2 but with 0 balance. 5 people walking around, all with rocket launchers is gonna have to be policed one way or another. and dont flame me if there has been 100 topics about this. i check the forum about once a week but havent seen a topic along these lines yet.

I agree, i kinda of hope it will be a combo of the Halo we all know and love, and Call of Duty which we all know and love. Thats a winning combo right there. I think the Fire fight from ODST was a prequel to what the gameplay of future Halo games will be like...squad based, no team work=death, a few shots will kill you kind of thing. Halo right now is 4v4 where everyone does whatever. I want it to be like 10v10 where everyone works together in various multi player games like in COD.

Prepare to get Flamed by everyone who hates class systems. I made a topic like this but in further detail, and got nothing but negative responses. I'm not saying to abandon thread, but don't be surprised at the comments, because a lot of people here seem to hate the Call of Duty Series.

I don't want Halo to be anything like CoD it's already got its own game play style and it should stick to it, a spartan dosn't need a team was the orginal idea seen as even in John's halo CE armour he could handle pretty much anything and everything.

Hopefully Reach will have a differance in how it's played but squad tactics should remain optional because I preffer the 'lone wolf' style where I let my team do whatever they want and I grab my sniper and just shoot what I see wherever I go.

All the flamers were in the ODST forum

I still wanna have customizable armour parts maybe the character is a base spartan then you choose shoulders, body, and helmet pieces.

It's not as hate but more rivalry to blame why people seem to 'hate' CoD it's sucessfull and it's unique in the way it play's exactly the same as Halo is. You get the Halo die hards flame about anything mentioned to do with CoD just as you get the CoD die hards flame about Halo.

Personally i'm happy with the way Halo is all appart from some terrible spawn locations (I've once lagged and spawned with the enemy team at the start of a match.) and the Battle Rifle (The gun sucks from no matter what point of view I try to look at it) otherwise I generally am happy with Halo i'd love for Reach to feel more immense and dangerous than Halo 3 was definatly and as in another thread I said "if you were in first person of the passenger seat of the warthog and it rolled you'd be a little disentoriated form it and that'd all add to a sence for realism".

Before I lose track of my point i'll put it plainly:
More realism/immenseness and no Battle Rifle.

Reach has to have more variety. just plain and simple. for about 6 months straight Halo 3 was the only game that i had ever played online. before i ever even tried call of duty i was left asking why Halo had no more variety to it. the battle rifle is great and all but nothing really counters it except for the carbine or sniper.

this is why i say the game has no variety to it. some may argue the AR this and that but the ar only has an effective range of about 30 - 40 feet. i dont believe it will but i hope the new recoil in ODST isnt implemented into Reach. nothing wrong with recoil but whenever i shoot a gun the recoil doesnt go up and stay there. the gun comes back down.

im not complaining at all on anything about the game. i like call of duty better now that ive played it for a few months but no developer will ever be as good as bungie. they are the most loyal team of game developers i have ever seen. Infinity Ward has a very talented team but seem to be a bunch of arrogant a$$holes that just dont share the passion for the community like bungie.

i cant wait for Reach and i trust it will be right. and i hope to god it isnt the last Halo game. i dont think it will be. to much money to stop with this franchise. whether it be bungie or 343 industries
