Halo: Reach needs to have a larger custom content limit. It is really annoying having to delete maps to make space and having to chose between which maps to keep. I feel that is the number one factor that stifled the community's creativity. It would be nice if they could increase the limit, or even make something like Bungie Pro, but better.

Also, I would like an option to store files offline. That way you could keep some of your maps stored locally only on your hard drive. They wouldn't have all of the connectivity of the linked ones, but you could store others there.

Agreed or Disagreed?

I think it should be able to store an infinite number of files if you have enough space. I also think map "folders" would be a good idea. It would help when you are trying to find maps for a certain gametype.

Personally, I think an actual "skilled" person in Halo 3 is someone who knows how to win with every weapon and combo in the game, not just a single weapon like the BR, Sniper, or even the AR. Of course, that excludes me, as I have yet to get a kill with dual plasma pistols. :D

What, you mean for the hard drive? If so, I think the limit should just be removed entirely. Conserving HD space is the player's responsibility, not Bungie's.

Well as of now, files are stored for play on your HD, but info and stuff is stored online. You notice how you can download, see info, etc about files online? That all takes Bungie server space.

It would be cool if there was an option to put some of your not as good stuff offline, to save your online limit. you would then only be limited by the size of your hard drive.

Edit: Whoops, I pressed the report key instead of the edit button by mistake.

Ya, if it's because it takes a long time to access those files, just make it so you choose the "file set" you are looking at. I hate having to make new profiles to save data in the same place and having to switch profiles to access that. There should also be a faster direct method of sharing content with people in your lobby rather than the file share (which I am always using for something).

Im a frequent forger, the higher the limit, the more maps i can store for later use.

I really think the limit should be the size of our Harddrive

Maybe they could have a "share with party" option like the invite party to game option in XBL parties.

this is one of those "would you like so and so in reach" threads, and of course we would.

  • 10.20.2009 4:36 PM PDT

There should be no limit.

I wish they would allow signatures at the end of someones post... Would be fun.

Well. Thats a one answer question you fancied yourself there. Why wouldn't we want bigger file storage? Is there anything wrong with it? Nope. Its a win, win situation.
