I know this isnt "Bioshock," "Call of Duty," or "Counterstrike."
I know.
If you think Halo is the first game to use every method in shooter games that it currently uses you are sadly mistaken.
Just because an idea has been used before in a previous game, doesnt mean Bungie cant expand on the idea and create it to give it a more Halo feel.
I mean really.. If we were talking about Halo before it came out and I suggested, "Hey I think they should use guns in this game" would you guys come in here and say "HEY DUDE! THIS ISNT DOOM!"?? No. You wouldnt.
I agree, It's like when i mention an aim mechanic from RFG would make the AR much funner, eaysier to use and more like an effective assault rifle. peapole call me a Cod fan boy
when
1- CoD did not invent gun sights in Video games
2- it not even using iron sights, im just asking for the option to engage at longer ranges with my MA5 which by the way is technically a battle rifle and would have an effective range of 600m
3- and you would think a helmet with a built in targeting computer 500 yeas in the Future; would be more useful than iron sights
Bio-shock is the only one of those games that has different ammunition for the caliber. so i don't see why people are calling you out for "Call of halo"
however my Objection is just to keep game play simple,
I would love to swap out the snipers discarding sabot round for a jacked slug, or put slugs in my shot gun. i just don't see how it would work. what button would change different mags. and how would it work fluidly in game play.
