As an occasional Halo: Pc player I find it very depressing how much support Halo has in the Pc space despite far greater potential than console versions in terms of dedicated servers, custom maps, and mods? I for one don't want another cash in port and doubt I can support Bungie with a purchase of Halo 3/ODST Pc simply because of the bottleneck Microsoft places on the titles.

Is anyone else upset by how much Bungie and Microsoft can have so much talent and resource, yet ignore the stepchild Pc counterparts, to the point that they don't even care for another title?

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

I guess the truth is that many of the people who would like to see Halo 3 on the PC know that it might not have dev support, if tradition follows.

For the most part, we're just hoping it will get done right. But you do raise a valid point, Casper.

Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphors have two parts : form and interpretation; of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom being the briocoleus, the mason.

A piece of dung is still a piece of dung no matter how you patch it, I think that's why H2V never saw genuine support because it was dead before release. Although if they release a solid piece of software if H3PC releases, then i could live without support.

we'd have people like cmt and zteam actually caring for this game.
and with a beauty engine like that, they'd be more happy to work mods on it.

oh well i suspect every pc gamer is angry at bungie and microsoft for letting us wait soo long for a game that becomes outdated by the time its released dosnt seeem like they care about the best invention in gaming so far computer has better graphics better games better gameplay you can use whatever controls u like so much funner and better but they figure that they will make more money like this irst they make the 360 then halo 3 and expect pc gamers to waste 500 bucks on halo and most gave in
unless they improve halo 3 in the slightest way by the time it comes out for pc i probably wont buy it the graphics are old as it is this is why cod is beating halo and if halo reach dosnt impress then bungie will die cod modern warfare 2 is probably going to be the most popular game for many years to come

that may become true, Bungie simply do not have many games, and if they did, they don't support as many Platforms.

Modern Warfare 2 will support all 3 Platforms - PC, 360 and PS3.
Bungie could atleast provide support for the PC, since it is a Microsoft Product.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I loved Halo until I got Halo 2 for Vista. So much stress trying to make it work, so many lies from Microsoft and Bungie. I realized Bungie is only milking Halo to stay rich. I won't buy Halo 3 for Windows, and I won't buy anymore Halo console games, either.

yeah, they know how to lie and get away with it.

If Halo 3 PC was to be made, I'd be happy if modders can put it's netcoding to proper use, as it allows veriety of mods to sync.

I would buy Halo 3 pc... but only if it is modable so i can do some crazy random stuff like make a brute pick up a grunt and fart on him.

Ok that was kinda random but still as long as it is modable i would buy it.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

Microsoft is bigger than Bungie, after closing a few game studios and their workers joining Microsoft, you'd expect they'd be doing something for the PC by now.

The closure of Ensemble Studios and FASA Studio and the creation of 343 Industries, you would think they'd be doing something with the big workforce.
