Now I know this question is six years old, but bear with me.
Both Vinh and Isaac are listed as having the same service tag, 029, in the book First Strike. Again, I know this is six year old news. Everywhere else I can find, Vinh is listed with the tag 030. This is all explained on Halopedia as well.
My question is, where did we come up with the number 030. Sam and Fhajad have the same problem with the tag 034, but everyone assumes that Fhajad's tag was a typo and that it is really 084. That I get.
However, there seems to be no logic behind 030 as a tag for Vinh.
Yes I have used the search bar, but all that is ever said is "there was a typo and this is the real tag." But how did we come to that conclusion. There is no logic behind just bumping the number of the tag up one value.
Pleas can anyone clear this up for me. Perhaps provide a refrence?
