Okay, honestly ODST was not in one bit cinematic like the rest of the Halo trilogy, but that's alright I knew what I got myself into when I heard the word expansion, but my opinion about ODST is not what this thread was created for.
I really hope like Halo 3 you make Reach cinematic, epic, and overall feel big and make it feel like we've accomplished something ingame.
The latest install ODST felt nothing like Halo 1, 2, and 3 which is fine since they weren't trying to go for the same old.
But what I want in a Halo game is the cinematic feeling I used to get, the sense of music settling in at the right time, the camera movement being perfectly synchronized with whatever emotion, movement, and environment the music would be based around.
Don't get me wrong ODST's music is wonderful (congratulations Marty) but it didn't fit in half the time.
It was like someone pasted it over a few clips of the game and called it "synchronized" while in Halo 3 it was perfectly timed and I felt like I was watching a movie.
I don't get that same feeling anymore with ODST.
So please, please, please Bungie go back to your old ways.
