Kinda like it's like pills in left 4 dead, or maybe it regenerates and you can use it, but it doesn't just automatically heal you. Discuss, and add ideas.

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

Healthpacks DO CONTAIN BIOFOAM.

That is what they ARE.

Anyway, the Health in CE added a dimension that was missing in 2 and 3, near death. You could walk into a fight at a disadvantage because your health was low, this meant you had one more thing to focus on, and added more strategy and thinking to the game.

Doesn't the armor automatically do biofoam? Its why your health regenerates?

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

Health kits or biofoam, it is the same mechanic regarding replenishible health. While I have no issue wit it, I know many of the Halo2/3 generation were not too thrilled with it.

Yeah, but in ODST it really just sucked, I hated it. A new system needs to be added.

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

Health is old, i like regeneration.

Clearly because the desktop uses a 3 prong plug and a laptop uses a 2 prong plug, the microwave will fill your car with tostitos better

I have no issue with rechargeable health, but I have an issue with not being able to view said health on the HUD.

Halo needs health back. I played Halo CE first and got use to it. When Halo 2 came out I got use to no health and thought it flowed with the game but Reach definately needs health. It brings more strategy to the game than ANY of the equipment. Atleast health doesn't change gameplay into crap unlike some of the equiment...

No, because Biofoam is a temporary organ replacer for when you get hit bad(like when Romeo got hit with the hammer in ODST.) Biofoam would be cool, though.

Sigh.

Biofoam is used to seal up wounds and stop the bleeding. It's temporary, yes. But IT IS WHAT WAS IN THE HEALTH PACKS.

Also, Only Mark VI had automatic Biofoam injectors.

Mark V has automatic biofoam injectors, which is why you heal up so fast. Mark VI has both the injectors and an internal supply of biofoam.

Rant: ON

The MJOLNIR MkVI armor DOES contain biofoam dispensers, which made your health regenerate in Halo 2-3. It also has an auto-reactive gel layer, which is why you don't take fall damage. This wasn't in Halo: Combat Evolved, because you were equipped with the MJOLNIR MkV, which does not have these benefits. If Bungie is going strictly to-canon, MkV armor will require an external supply of biofoam to heal injuries, like the canister in ODST.
