Okay does anyone know what cafepress actually is? It’s a site that makes the t-shirts for you, you just give in a design, they’ll do it, and it’s free too! They just get a percentage of the profits. And look at how crummy the 'Halo 2' logo is, with the crummy writing edited into it? Okay? Someone use your head here!!! Seriously. Someone realizes how big this damn thing is, decides to register a free account on cafepress under those details, and costs this person nothing. And then makes a profit off of suckers who order this stuff! Please this t-shirt business is a scam and isn't official, don’t waste your time or your money. You can simply do it yourself, make the same t-shirt, sell for a dollar, and then order it yourself, then you’ll have the t-shirt and you won’t be ripped off. But they look crummy anyway, so who would want them??

I think this should be made a sticky, to save people from spending their money on a guy taking advantage of hype by selling t-shirts that are over priced and crap

*edit* Realized myself how annoying it was to read this post, so I fixed whatever spelling and grammar errors I'm capable of fixing =P *edit*

Though there is a good chance the shirt isn't official, there is no way to know. Bungie could have created that store to go along with the blog and website. If the shirt isn't official the person selling them will probably get sued for copyright infringements.

-S

There's no way Bungie would make that cafepress store. For one, it'd probably go against the contract with the people that run the BungieStore. For another, the photoshopped logo looks like ass with that crappy text on it, and Bungie's standards are too high. Someone is just trying to profit from the excitement. I have a feeling that when Bungie finds out about the store tomorrow, it'll be gone pretty quickly.

the people stupid enough to buy the shirts should have known this in the first place. They guy who is making the shirt is one smart guy! Let him play off of other peoples stupidity! Hey, if the guy who made the shirts is on these forums; I got a message for you!

Way to go! Bet you're rich by now! (heh heh)

Eh Neo_Jordan, what are you talking about? There's been dozens of posts on this subject, and since I have my own store on Cafepress I know about it, so Stop accusing people, and it clearly states in your post that your are saying that the store means halo 2 is out on august 24th, which is the opposite of what I’m saying. I'm saying the shop is a hoax. So stop flaming me for "stealing" your "link".

With regards,
The Red Dude.

Well I hope I saved someone money with this, and to the people unfortunate enough to fall for that gag, you have my deepest regards. The only possible way to ever feel good about it now is probably to track the guy down, beat him up, drag him outside his house, use the t-shirt as a rag to make a petrol bomb, and watch his house go boom with him standing right next to you with a broken face, unless of course your a whimp, then you could just get some hired goons or something. But I’m glad I could help if I did

Deepest Sympathies,
The Red Dude

how do u know they will find out about it tommorow?!?

I'd have to agree that this "shirt profiting" is most likely a hoax; however, some people find these things to be highly collectable... reguardless if the item is official or not.

Trust me, people will pay top dollar for any Halo 2, including ilovebees, items on ebay come a few years.

People tend to go crazy over this kind of stuff:)

But still, they could make the same shirt, if not better for themselves, set the price to like 50 cent, and order it themselves. So either way it's a bit dumb if you ask me. If they want collectables they can just copy ones already made and do it for cheaper, and its not illegal or anything, because that t-shirt isn’t official either.

I bet you if I made an official 'Halo 2' store on cafepress, about half this forum will fall for it and I’d be rich. But here’s where one of café press’s rules come in, you are not allowed use copyrighted logos, for one the halo 2 logo is copyrighted but isn’t it been used on cafepress, this guy should be reported as he is going against the terms and conditions of cafepress and many other copyright laws which I’m sure Bungie would love to point out to this guy.

With copyright inflicted laws,
The Red Dude.

I"ll agree that these shirts, if not official, are against the law.

Nevertheless, if the person behind this foolery is prosecuted, and one would suspect that he will be, then the exposer of the Law of Microsoft being being brought down upon his uncorporate head will/would give HIS items much more exposure than the would be home made tee shirt factory.

These products would be the select few "ilovebee" products (if Bungie doesn't come out with any, and I doubt they will ) from the Halo 2 era.

This, in turn, makes these few items the only recognized products available to the masses by collectors. Thus, the illegal profitering of one marked man produces rare items for would be collectors of the gaming world:)

True. But hey collectors waste money on stupid things all the time, so why stop them from doing it again? I'm just trying to help the gullible, non-collector users of these forums from a big mistake. They could get alot of Bungie stickers for that money! I got a Bungie logo and a flaming ninja one when I ordered my Grunty-shirt :D they are the greatest stickers ever and only set me back a dollar each. :D

With a Grunty-shirt,
The Red Dude.

Hey you guys forgot something... The quote she has in her profile, the fact that the link was in the official halo trailer, and finnally, the site is bull crapped too. This was made by Bungie. Also, the person that made the thread giving us the link to Ilove bees... remember? Probably a bungie affliate...

 • 07.25.2004 9:17 PM PDT

Yea, I recieved several stickers with the Halo 2 Calendar I won when B.net relaunched, and I'm willing to bet that the Halo 2 Calendar will be a collectable item in a few years... but I regress:)

Ha ha ha....
