Poll: Would you like this new game mode? [closed]
Total Votes: 5
*Let me start by saying this wouldn't replace MM, Custom Games, or Firefight. It's its own game mode that you select off the main menu.*
Clash mode would be a way for people to make their own weapons and vehicles and play with them online.
To create a weapon all you would have to do is enter the page to edit your character. From their you could click on the CLASH: WEAPON tab and begin editing your weapon. Your character could have one custom weapon. From the start you could edit an AR, a Magnum, a Plasma Rifle, and a Plasma pistol. You could unlock other weapons by progressing in the campaign, finding skulls, or unlocking achievements. Once you have selected the weapon you want to edit you begin by selecting a name. After you've picked a name you can move onto choosing its color, model, performance, and add perks to it. Perks would start out basic, but more can be unlocked later. You could also choose effects for your weapon.
Being able to edit a vehicle would have to be unlocked. Making a vehicle would be similar to making a weapon. You can edit their speed, color, and weapons. At first you would start with a Mongoose. You would eventually unlock more vehicles, more perks, and more weapons to equip your vehicle with.
Clash mode would be an assortment of all kinds of gametypes. Though the maps layout would be different, you would always spawn in an identical base as the other team. In your base would be your team's custom weapons and to the side of the building would be a garage to hold your custom vehicles. If a character doesn't have a custom weapon/vehicle it will be replaced by a map default weapon/vehicle.
When you start a map, you and only you can pick up your weapon or drive your vehicle (unless you want other people to be able to use your stuff which could be changed in your item's properties). When you leave your base your item/vehicle can be taken by your own team and the enemy team. Your enemies cannot enter your base. The automatic doors will not open for them. If your weapon runs out of ammo the only way to replenish it would be to run back to your base and get more ammo from the ammo cache that's located in every base. Enemies cannot reload a weapon in their base that doesn't belong to their team.
Your custom weapon/vehicle would only spawn at the start of the map. Vehicles can be parked into the garage to be repaired by Engineers in your base. If your vehicle is destroyed it will not comeback until the next round/game.
Clash would only work on a couple predefined maps. You could not advance in rank. It is only a social game type (meaning guests can play, but not edit their own weapons/vehicles).
What do you think of my idea?
