Not like in Halo 2 where you lock on and the rocket follows your target forever. but mechanic where if you hold the trigger and the rocket will follows your reticule.

{EDIT} also a fuel limitation

I worry about people who spend too much time to figure out how they can consistantly make the rockets hit a key location that they can't see in the enemies base.

Almost; the differences would be you could let off the trigger and let it go, the Laser has to be be within 300m so the rocket wont follow a line in to space like in Half Life 2 and it would not be as responsive. the primes is anti vehicle which are big targets, have a somewhat predictable path, and are not very agile

"They let me pick... did I ever tell you that? Choose whichever Spartan I wanted. You know me. I did my research. Watched as you became the soldier we needed you to be. Like the others you were strong and swift and brave, a natural leader. But you had something they didn't. Something no one saw but me. Can you guess? Luck."

This sounds alot like the Kornet anit tank missle... I would not mind it. As long as it has a range ( Like you said ) At is has limited ammo if it a turret based weapon. Otherwise yes, go for it.

Also, it should be on singleplay and multiplayer, not just one of them.

yeah it would make scarab fights easier and it would be pretty fun to launch a rocket straight up then point it at your target and drop a missile on him

I remain undecided. It would either be a really good thing or a really bad thing. I'm not sure I see the point either when you already have missiles that home.

So more like the BF2 laser guided rockets that turn slowly in order to make hitting vehicles difficult.
