Yes, I would love to see this, but it will most likely never be in any Halo game, Bungie or otherwise.

What do you guys think?

I've been advocating a gametype called "Planetfall", where one team starts in orbit and drops to the surface, to attack a defending team. Kinda like an extreme version of one-Objective gametypes. You could probably do a two-sided space battle, with ships' guns hammering away point-blank and boarders going over on boarding pods and dropships. Space battles are such an integral part of Halo, it's a shame we never get to partake in one.

I like the Idea; and I'm predicting a good portion of the game would be in space so it's a possibility

i don't see how bungie would do with Space vehicles but if you want a good analog of what a space figher game should be

try the Infinity Combat Prototype.

If the inside of the ships were bigger, Star Wars Battlefront 2 had a great ship-to-ship fighting variant. Fighting around huge battleships was great fun. I'd love to see Halo's twist on it.

Yes, but in Battlefront 2 the Capital ships were not destructible (the Frigates were though) I would actually want to destroy a capital ship, either from the inside or outside.

I like the infinity way more
the Game is a very user friendly space sim they did a lot of things right

--Momentum--
instead flying like you were in atmosphere, you actually fly as if you were in orbit

--Scale--
MY GOD THE SCALE!!!! you would have to see the Game.

Hell YES!

It could happen since Master Chief and his team were fighting in space (yes, I know we probably won't be playing as the chief, I'm just pointing that out). How awesome would it be to fight in space from a first-person viewpoint? It'd sure give Uncharted 2 a run for its money in terms of gameplay innovation.
