Much like the survey given in today's weekly update I say that Bungie should give us a survey sometime about what we want and expect in Reach.

I'm going to have to disagree just because I feel like there are way too many ideas among the community, and there are probably some that would end up ruining the game. Let the makers do their work.

Bungie wants our opinion, they don't make any money if they don't make a good game, they make good games by knowing what the gamers would like.

Because Muslims surgically implant organic bombs in their testicles, which in turn will be injected into women during sex, which will grow into BABY BOMBS!

Yes that's true but there are a lot of idiots in the community with dumb ideas which would ruin any survey.

What do you think this forum is for?

You know, Bungie is made up largely of gamers, obviously the designers would be (or at least mostly). I'm sure they know what should be in it. And considering there's people like Staten who have actual credentials in things which could help in the plot (he has a political science degree?), I'd rather trust them.

Perception is everything.

They are already in-depth in the design of the game. I doubt they would ask us what we want in it after they have already decided what they are going to put in it.

Haha. When you're right you're right. I actually went down to visit some friends at their university last weekend, and I guess one of them donated money to breast cancer and won the raffle Bungie was doing. Me and my friend got to play with a couple game testers from Bungie in ODST fire fight. They were ridiculously good. They pretty much tripled both of our scores.

Yeah it's not like Bungie doesn't know how to shape great experiences but i will admit to being a little concerned about certain design choices - encounters ending before their time is certainly one concern i think Bungie has trouble with at times

My only other concern would be if Reach has a shorter campaign than i think it needs to be from Bungie this time - Halo3 was at least a level or two too short

Et Eärello Endorenna utúlien.
Sinome maruvan ar Hildinyar.
tenn' Ambar-metta!

I think they already know what we want, enough to say.
