Have you ever seen the blast radius of an actual plasma grenade?

It's not going to be the mark VI so if it's anything lower then that don't you think you will be taking fall damage in reach? also IMO i dont think thats cool....maybe if they dont have big drops in the multiplayer levels it wont even matter but other then that, it's lame.

Perhaps. They could easily make it a custom games option.

good idea that could work

If fall damage is in Reach, we should be able to turn it off/alter it in custom games.

The question is, will bungie turn it off in matchmaking?

I would definitely not want it as a standard setting.

In the campaign, Yes. In the multiplayer, No.

"The next time you see me, I'll be stabbing you to death! Okay?"

I think it'd be an interesting change of pace. You'll have to find shortcuts and such to get from Point A to Point B without simply being able to jump, unaffected, from said points to the other.

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

custom games option.
Keep it optional, because I like the movement dynamics of H2 and 3.
