It should have the type of graphic improvement that we saw from Halo 2 to Halo 3.

Only one that impressed me were Crisis.

also Crisis was supposed to be on the 360, but could only play on the most powerful computers due to its amazing graphics and such.

So Reach will not look like Crisis.

If Bungie used the same engine used in Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST, that would be a total *facepalm* moment.

I guarantee you they will develop an independent Reach engine... In layman's terms, better sound, better graphics.

Dude I don't care and my grammer is perfect.I used "Big", as you recall it to mak is specific."to not do...",is incorrect beause "do" is present tense/perfect(or future) when it was a past tense.

Crisis 2 is coming out on 360, PS3, and PC. That is the game the article is talking about.

Odd, the first was supposed to be on 360. PS3, and PC, but only came out on to the PC, maybe they did something to this new game to play on the other systems?

The PS3 is more than capable of supporting Crysis 2... even more so Crysis .

In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

The PS3 only has slightly better graphics support compared to the 360. The big difference is the PS3's use of Blu-Ray. It can fit more content on the disc than the DVDs used by the 360. You can have the same graphics for both systems, but the 360 would probably have more than 1 disc. It's not that bad a thing.

Heard of the STI Cell microprocessor? Do some reading and compare that to the 3.2 GHz PowerPC Tri-Core Xenon of the 360.

Your friendly and eccentric Sangheili forum-poster. :)

Bungie's weak spot in visuals is noticeably the distance and the overall texture quality of things when you zoom in. If they work on those two, even on the Halo 3 engine things would look pretty cool. However, we're talking about a totally different engine here, I'd expect to see a huge improvement in graphics, otherwise what would be the point in making a new engine?

R.I.P. Halo 2
11/9/04 - 4/15/10

- B( )B

I really don't care about the graphics, I just want to be able to have Halo 3 graphics with larger scale battles in campaign. I want large environments with large amounts of team mates and enemies. Kind of like the Halo 3 Believe model.

-I know what you're thinking, and it's crazy.
-But... what if monkeys really could fly?

Crysis graphics were poorly done, took alot of computer power to get everything out of it. And Alan Wake and a few other games on that list are not even that great in graphics, so it's not really a great goal/or comparison for reach.
