Ok from what I have seen these are the things that which the community needs to be happy.
Campaign:
A: Cinematics.
1A. We want cut scenes that draw to the story more Halo 3 was lacking in this. Yes the Cut Scenes were amazing but they had little or no substance adding nothing to the story.
2B. We want more CG bungie yes free running Scenes are nice but CG makes you get all tingly and goose bumpy!
B: Story
1A. Halo 1 was perfect bungie this is and has been a mass consensus. Go back to your roots that is where you did it right. halo 3 was lacking in story big time half the time you left us Questioning wtf this had to do with anything and by the end of the game your still asking how did I get to earth in the damn First place!
C: Gameplay
1A. "Epic battles" something we were promised with halo 3. Where are they? Do they happen between invisible elites and brutes? Oh ok I needed Visr to seem them makes sense. On a serious point there was one epic battle and that was hardly epic..was more of a hindrance.
I don't know about the majority but in my eyes epic battle means a few hundred grunts 50 or so brutes and 20-30 jackals staring at me on a open plain charging me with battle shouts and roars of blood lust.
2A. what happened to the feeling of being a super soldier Bad ass MOFO? That is what the point was for halo to "be" the Chief it is why his face is never shown correct? ( bungie has said this ) Yet you have changed that in halo 3 somehow I do not know how or what you did but the feeling has gone away.
3A. Enemie AI in Halo 3 bungie made leaps and bounds with AI even in ODST I noticed some nice changes. But the Ai is still not what they promise he flanking is subpar and the Stratgey of the enemy always seems to be to overpower not to out think. Never a different strategy always come from the sides and front.
In halo 3: ODST we see alot for Jetpack brutes adding to the enemies strat by coming from above but they are easily taken out.
I guess what I am saying is give us smarter enemies not better. We can see your trying and what you have done so far is amazing but we want better than amazing..Because your bungie.
Multiplayer:
A: Variants and maps.
1A. The Bringing back of the basic Variants Team slayer, Big team battle, team Snipers, Team Swat, and your basic Social playlist.
2A. Now to the not so basic. Many want a MLG playlist...I however say no as it is a drain to the community causes "-blam!- Talking" and "-blam!-y whiny rants". It's what Customs are for people.
3A. Maps that need to remade. Ok first the obvious as this is a pre halo 1 game. We all want Blood Gulch back in it's truest of forms IMO even the same Name. We all want Lockout maybe with a few tweaks here and there.
4A. Now for the new style that reach will obviously have. To put it simply. We want bigger, smaller, and better.
now to go into detail.
4AA. Bigger: We want maps that support at minimum 28 ppl online or system link. Why this has not been done is beyond many but IMO it is because Halo doesn't use Dedicated servers ( get to those later ). The maps need to have massive bases with a vast array of vehicles. Spots to snipe, shortcuts that are amazing such as a rail system in the sky.
4BB. Smaller: Halo 3 in my opinion seemed to have BIG Small maps. That maps that are small were to big this is an issue as it defeats the purpose of Close quarters. I simply and others want maps to be a bit smaller when it comes to being small.
4CC.Better: Simplest of all the map issues. To put it bluntly bungie...Gives us some damn breakable bunkers! If we launch a 100 wraith mortars at a base it should crumble! haha. That is a lot to ask I know but god would we love you for it.
(There is much more about Maps I could go into but i want a straight forward point in plain view thread.)
Forge:
A:More objects and space
1A. Simply Put we want more shapes and sizes with more space.
B: Movement, placement, and view.
1B. we would like to see a more versatile camera when placing items. possibly detach from your body and move around looking at every angle to check and double check angles.
2B. we want to be able to actually place things in the air. this would be the most simple of things to do. this simple...when we release something it stays where it is doesn't fly 1,000 feet away because some edgy glitch or some other bs.
3B. Placement of objects needs to be more dynamic. we need to be able to move more precisely and not so wild. The movements as of right now seem clicky and unstable.
Theater
A:Effects.
1A. put in the ability to set effects that have been implemented to forge instead of placing them we can just turn them on when snapping the pic.
B: More settings for recording
1A. Simply put allows us to record at different speeds and actually be able to edit photos and video. (yes Rendering adds to this but we want functionality while on game to edit)
2B. Add button combinations! Please, XD that make our character models do poses. like the gun raising and lowering used in Machinima for halo 2. The machinima world is ever growing if we could just have more to go with such better quality of work could be obtained!
