"They let me pick... did I ever tell you that? Choose whichever Spartan I wanted. You know me. I did my research. Watched as you became the soldier we needed you to be. Like the others you were strong and swift and brave, a natural leader. But you had something they didn't. Something no one saw but me. Can you guess? Luck."

More realism would be nice... Or even just a common sense realism. For example, in halo 3 the warthog gets stuck on the *back*bumper and the driver dies.. But when the warthog gets stuck on the *front* bumper the driver dies.. It should be the other way around....
Also, it would be nice if vechicals had key points to shoot to destroy the vechical, for example shot the engin on the warthog to reck the vechical, or shoot the tires to render it useless. Or for the Shee, shoot the gravity pods of, and it would be like trying to fly a rock.
Hit placement would be nice too, instead of hit points( Which is what halo 1,2,3, and ODST has now ) Hit placement would be if you get shot in the arm with no sheilds you would live, get shot in the chest or head you would die. But because you have armor you could take about 2 shots to the head or chest.
Other stuff like, "why do I have to put the warthog turret back the way I found it before I can jump off?" What I mean is, you can't just leap out of the vechical, you have to bring the turret back, then jump off slowly...
Boarding could use a little work too. For example, it should take about 2-5 seconds to board an air craft. The hornet can't just fly by and somone just jumps and flys an extra 20 feet in the air and boards it. Same should apply to normal vechicals, just to a lesser degree. The vechical should have to come to a more or less stop before you can board it, you can just grab on while its boosting along.
