I was wondering what the Campaign could be like if there were multiple options to choose from in the way you go about playing the Campaign. Your strategies would shape the way the level plays out, though it would all end the same.
For example:
You and your Spartans make your way across a giant battlefield using any means necessary (On foot, vehicle, or air). Depending on which option you choose, the Campaign level will vary with advantages and disadvantages (Example: If you choose air superiority, you will be combatted by Vampires. Choose vehicles and you'll have to destroy a Scarab, etc).
At a certain point, you can either a) choose to lead your Spartans on foot through a tunnel or narrow path; b)Command a Warthog rush through a large-scale encounter; or c) Choose the quickest solution, by air, but face great challenges along the way.
You would finish the level at the same finishing area, but off of different scenarios. A good example of this is at the end of Uplift Reserve in ODST, in the final cutscene, when Dutch either drives a Warthog or a Ghost off of the cliff depending on what vehicle the player used.
I think this would be a great idea for expanding the Campaign in Halo Reach, and making people actually want to play it often.
Discuss, and feel free to give suggestions.

UPDATE: Nerradeveses (Sp?) has brought another thing to my attention. What if based on the decision you choose you get to play an entirely different level dedicated to that tactic? It could work, I guess. Imagine this:
You choose the Vehicle Use option, and the entire level changes signifigantly because of that decision (Example, a Marine squad that you could save on foot died because you chose vehicles). It put a completely new spin on ANY Campaign in ANY game.
Who knows? I thought it was a good suggestion.
