Marine Corps.
Semper Fi.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

Leave the useless features to Gears of War.

I guess I should back up my opinion? OK, well in Gears that works fine because everything is roughly the same size (funny how that works out). In Halo, Brutes are tall and bulky. Carrying them around when you have energy shields would only serve to slow you down.

Also, using a Grunt or Jackal as a meatshield would also do next to nothing. Their bodies would fall apart pretty easily against a barrage of fire.

There's only like the chainsaw anyway.

But really, as much as I like beating the -blam!- out of people, just improve the current melee system so it's not unfair as -blam!-, no need to add a whole new system.

Although innovation is the core of the videogame industry (something Sony doesn't seem to understand, mind you), Halo can't change too much so it's unrecognizable.

Dual-Wield, Boarding, Rocket Lock-On seemed like alot back when Halo 2 came out. Halo 3 had equipment and the like, (which was a good idea, but shouldn't be in FFA imo) and well Halo CE reinvented the whole FPS genre while keeping it puzzlingly oldschool.

See, it doesn't have to be drastic.
