Subject: C-7?

If you've read the books, then you've probably heard about C-7 being used.

Basically, it's explosive's in a tube. Like Pillsbury cookies. It takes a few moments to harden, and then makes a pretty big explosion.

So, my question is, would you like to see it as a anti-vehicle weapon, or maybe even as a sort of proximity mine?

Pending...

This would be a cool idea but the way halo is played it might off set the game.

C-7 is a foaming adhesive explosive best used for blowing holes in walls or doors. It's principle advantage is that a fairly large coverage of C-7 can be carried in what is basically a caulk gun.

C-12 is the regular high-powered plastic explosive analogous to modern-day C-4 that they use.

Also, maybe C-12 could be used like that. It would probably be quite unbalanced though compared to Halo 3's tripmine (but with the tripmine being so weak and visible it's pretty much useful on Rat's Nest and Rat's Nest alone).

it should be in there

do you mean c-12?

I could see this as a replacement for the trip mine. The glowing exploding pizza in halo 3 could be replaced with a simple tube of explosive that one throws the same way as any other equipment. It could be very effective at taking out a vehicle or setting a trap for one or more enemies who are pursuing you. Give it a 10-20 second fuse and -BOOM-. Sticky, and more powerful than a plasma grenade.

Without me, it's just "Aweso".

In my opinion C6 is much more effective.

But I hope they do put it in.
