The only thing I liked about the demo is that you are more into the city of New mombassa than the game itself.

Can you believe it?

I personally enjoyed Halo 2's campaign and I think it was far from screwed up. Although, that level from the trailer was pretty cool especially the part with the elites.

no way. 1/3 of halo 2's campaign was either mediocre or sucked. they could've done a lot better. bungie was heading in the right direction with the e3 demo and then they thought it would be a good idea to stray completely away from that awesomeness with the first arbiter level.

Humans want what they can't have. e.g. rec0nz, flamez.
You can't have the e3 demo, so you want it.

What if the campaign was like the e3, and the e3 was like the actual campaign?

Well, as for changing that level seen in demo, look closely on streets when the MC pilots that gauss hog, notice how confined they are? (The person who designed that level, changed, saying it was like fighting in a tin can, thus it needed to be changed)

Lastly, as for those incredible graphics seen in the demo, along with those cool working stationary plasma artillery, someone claimed Bungie actually made this game to run on the devs Xbox. (Bungie didn't know that a devs xbox has 128 RAM, unlike the regular xbox, which only has 68 RAM)

And of course, what I said above may in fact, explain why Bungie encountered the big blue error screen when they tested it shortly before Halo 2's release.

Anyway, while Halo 2 did not include it's intended level of quality, (thank microsoft for rushing the release of this game) it's still an incredible game, with a great campaign.

(While what I said in my second paragraph may not be true, what is true, is that this game still push's the regular xbox to the limit.)

With all that being said...... *Starts singing Sermons*

Not only that but we can take the game beyond the limits. You can't do this or this in any other game.

The second vid is my try to get the Outskirts Scarab gun from inside the tunnel. A work in progress.

Why couldn't Halo 2 be more like the demo. it rocked and was considerably better than the game turned out to be. of course there would have to be a few obvious changes and tweaks to it, but i think for the most part, it certainly could have worked well.

i agree with you, but i also loved the current h2 campaign, it is very well balanced.

HOWEVER in terms of demos and betas i WOULD have liked the BR to be condensed to one shot bursts when scoped instead of 3 because the current h2 br is a snipers worst nightmare.
