I don't mind the bullet deviation part of the Auto Aim feature. I realize that it is necessary for successful multiplayer with controllers, but for the love of God, please disable the "sticky reticule" feature. Or at least an option in the Main Menu UI to turn the feature off.
I find it highly frustrating when I am trying to attack someone in front of me, an enemy happens to jump across my path, how my reticule will follow that enemy, and I will have to spend precious milliseconds adjusting my aim back to my intended target. Milliseconds that frequently cost me the final headshot. It is also very annoying when performing melee attacks as well.
Halo 3 is the only multiplayer game that I've played that has the sticky reticule feature, and doesn't have the ability for the user to turn it off. Halo is also the only game that I notice the sticky reticule feature in action. Does anyone know of any other Xbox 360 games that have this feature? I have yet to notice it in any other games other than the Halo series.
/ rant or w/e you want to call it.
