Subject: What does it mean?

This may sound like a stupid question, but. What does "From the beginning, you know the end" mean? I'm guessing that the end is MC drifting towards the planet at the end of Halo 3, but what's the rest?

And I havn't read any of the books, so yeah. I expect to get insulted and such, but any real answers would be greatly appreciated too!

from the books and in game dialogue and i think the halo ce manual, you know that reach was destroyed. so from the beginnig (halo ce) you know the end (reaches destruction), which is the story for this game. but what happens during the game is anyones guess. before people start saying we know what happens its in the book THIS GAME WILL NOT BE OF THE BOOK IT WILL BE ARROUND IT. that wasnt against you btw lol

Yeah, I know, I didn't expect the game to be based on the book. And I did know that Reach was glassed. So what your saying is that Reach was under attack during the events of Halo:CE... Oh, yeah! Because MC escaped from Reach when the Covenent attacked. Thanks, you've really cleared this up for me. What a wierd name for a planet "Reach".

yeah it is wierd lol. the rant about the book wasnt directed at you, sorry, it was against anyone who might post sayin the story is just a run through of the book.
