just a couple observations I'v made when fighting grunts

1- Shouldn't you be able to just step on them; if not knock them down when one gets in your way? it's a small complaint but I don't see why a 4 foot space midget would get in the way of a 2 ton space marine.

2- why is it in halo 3 the AR only dose good damage when the grunt gets knocked back by the first rounds; otherwise it takes a good 8 rounds to kill a grunt on NORMAL mode. 4 rounds if you let off a burst of 2 and another 2 rounds when hes stunned

Wherever you roam
so far from home
you'll be safe from peril
life threatening and terrible
if you avoid David Powel
and keep track of your towel.

Grunts are 4-5 feet tall, which is only slightly shorter than a human. They're pretty significant creatures, you can't exactly step right over them (even if you're a 7 feet tall half-ton Spartan).

but still, getting hit by a spartan in full sprint is like getting hit by a small car you should at least be able to push them out of your way

And you can, just push into them and they'll slide aside. Plus the game doesn't allow you to run very fast.
