Name 7 things that you are dying to see in reach. Name 7 NEW things, not something thats obvious, like "New Weapons", or "New Maps". Odds are, bungie will put those in their last halo game. If you want a particular map, or a particular weapon or vehicle, then post that. I personally want:

1. A Custom Game search (like MGOs, but with more detail)
2. Alot of armor, and customization
(like I want to be able to take off my helmet, like in ODST, and customize my face, and voice)
3.Headlong
4. A full map creator, (like FC2s)not an editor
5. Helmet Cameras
6. Punching with fists
7. More animation and detail(like I want to see a spartan melt, if hes been lazered, or if I snipe a enemy through his visr, I want to see a hole. Also I want visr damage, like in Metroid)

Name 7 things.

I dont have seven, but i would like to see recognizable SPARTAN IIs from the book series, like Fred, Linda, Jai, Adrianna, ya know, to make the characters part of a squad acting like friends.

Death to rank junkies.

1. ALL past and present vehicles
2. evenly balanced weapons (nothing used at all ranges)
3. more customisation (armor, character models, colors)
4. less powerful melee
5. more things to put in forge (all weapons on every map, dead bodies)
6. LONG campaign
7. no ranking system (no more people screaming at each other for being a different rank)

Well, if we're talking about new things.

1. Elites return.
2. Advanced version of Forge.
3. Battle damaged armor.
4. Every weapon is capable of headshots.
5. No matter where you shoot the shields, they all take the same amount of hits to deplete. (i.e. BR no longer takes many body shots and only four head shots to kill. It will take the same amount of time to down somebody's shields whether you're shooting at the head or body. Then, once the shields are down, THEN you can get a headshot. It only makes perfect sense.)
6. More destructible environments.
7. Insanely advanced Spartan/Elite/Brute? customization.

i dont really want people blowing up or melting into a pudle if i shoot them with a rocket or hit them with the sp'laser. i want to see other things you said. things like a hole in the guys visr if he gets sniped, i just wanna see more detail in the game.

2. Very large-scale epic battles in the campaign
3. New gametypes for matchmaking
4. The return of Firefight (with matchmaking and no campaign based maps (well maybe one or two, but I want some originals here.))

6. Pelican fly-ability. Yeah, I want it that bad.

1) Different armour classes with different attributes (different size, speed, melee strength, health levels, etc).

2) LOTS of armour customization. Like 25+ types of helmet, chestplate, sholders, forearms, boots, backpack, etc, all per armour class. As well as full icon creation (with some templates, as well as an in-game paint program).

3) Standard multiplayer AND firefight with matchmaking.

4) Some type of co-operative play mode for more than 4 players. Maybe they could make firefight 6-8 players, maybe they could work more than 4 players into campaign co-op somehow. Or, maybe they could do a set of multiplayer 'missions' seperate from the campaign, but with clear multi-part objectives. I'm thinking of something kind of like the old 'Assault' mode from Unreal Tournament. You could have 8 players attacking, 8 players defending, but with more complex and level-specific objectives.

5) Some kind of water vehicle.

6) The ability to drive a Scarab.

7) A darker, more desperate storyline. Classic Halo action, but with a little mix of trench warfare. I want to feel like there is no way to actually win the battle - like I'm lucky just to make it out alive.

1. Better balancing of weapons. I want to feel like I can actually choose a covvie wep without realizing that now I am going to be destroyed by everyone else.

2.Hit scan brought back. I dont need that kind of realism in my sci fi game. When my BR fires whats wrong with the bullets hitting immediately. Tired of playing swat or anything with BRs and having some of the burst not hit the target...really stupid.

3. New multiplayer modes. Like something to do with Conquest, capturing bases, not just territories. Kinda like in Battlefront 2, then you could maybe requistion some weapons or vehicles.

4. A human flyer that doest suck....something more manuveuerable.

5.The color Black for armors. Steel doesnt cut it.

6. Better multiplayer maps. I hate to say it but I pretty much dislike and even sometimes hate all the Halo 3 maps save for like 5. Bring back more Halo 2 maps, just dont change them. Pretty much every Halo 2 map kicked ass.

7. If there is a Forge, this isnt something thats is a MUST HAVE, but I am running out of ideas., but I would like it to be easier in the Forge, maybe a mode that snaps objects into place when they get close together, would make it a lot easier and fun to edit maps.



You could call this Number 8. But it would be really cool and change up the feel of Halo if you added the Aim feature that a lot of shooters have today. Like CoD. Ability to bring the gun up and aim down the sights. Might give the game some new life.

Um... I like Halo? I don't really know what to say. I'm a student at the moment, I hope to become a criminal profiler, and I enjoy pretty much everything as long as it's good.

The less than a second latency of online play is a better system to play off of than more health.

You realize this system is just as host based, right? because if you're fighting host, or someone with a better connection to host, and you each start firing at the same time, his BULLETS will register first, giving him slightly more health if the melees happen at the same time.

So would you rather have the BS of both, or just one?

1. More aggressive/ crafty AI. I don't care if they have to use some preset options, I just want to feel as if the covies are making strategic advances or relocating around me rather than me simply entering a battle field to find a small subgroup of guys up close, a few further back, and the rest are off over there. Let em try to hunt me down.

2. Halo 1 quality campaign. I have tried so many different combos of difficulties and skulls but I have yet to replicate the experience of a halo 1 shoot out of an/ a squad of elites. Those guys would just follow you around and harass you to all end, while brutes even in halo 3 either sit back and spam or try to tickle me to death after they berserk with little health left.

3. Proper treatment for the full arsenal. If I find that only a handful of weapons *cough, BR, Carbine, cough* manage to relegate the majority of other weapons to the useless bin then I'm going to ask for my money back. I am sick of playing halo like a game of COD 4 with only 1 possible gun. I want every gun to be a gun, not some underpowered pellet pistol that has barely enough ammo in a magazine to kill one enemy. There had better be halo 1 style head shot damage bonuses again.

4. Figure out how to make nades work. I can't help but feel as if bungie still cannot come to a decision as to what to do with nades. They dropped a player's nade count in half so that once in a blue moon on campaign only you could use their gimic flame nades, or every once in a while get stuck with using the plasma grenade that lacks a proper blast radius (spike nade).
Whatever they do i really hope they make each nade they do keep as purposeful as halo 1's nades. You use the frag for dealing light damage over a large area, and the sticky can do rather light area damage but lethal direct hit potential. It seems like the only thing spike/ flame nades do is add yet another way to kill with a direct hit while then offering area of effect damage that is almost always sporadic at best.

5. Comparable or increased social matchmaking selections. I love being able to simply play a game with a completely random assortment of team mates or foes of varied skill levels. I like the experience of being owned one game and then owning the next. I hate the way matchmaking eventually makes every game a tense match that is usually decided by a lucky encounter or a chance drop out of a player.

6. More Aliens. Even if some end up being a bit redundant I really do want to see the covenant fleshed out a bit more. So what if a drinnol ends up acting like a melee only hunter, let us fight it. I don't care if "ALIEN (X)" acts just like an elite that behaves a little more erratically, let it spice up some firefights.

7. Centered Crosshairs. I have never gotten use to aiming with the crosshairs where they are. Some (many) people seem to not care but I always feel as if I am never really aiming at what I am shooting in halo 2/3/ODST. I pick up halo 1 or any other game and I can easily twitch around the crosshairs and know exactly where I am shooting, and quickly aquire targets. Though even when my crosshairs are dead on in recent halo games I always find it hard to not tweak my aiming around on the target as it never feels right.

I apologize for my list basically reading like (make Reach like halo 1 or else, garbble arggh *rage*) but every time I pick up the halo sequels I always get this mixed feeling of pleasure from what that games accomplish in game play but discomfort from how many of the newer games have "weak areas" that are most often seemingly needless changes from the original. I still love (currently) halo 3 but it pains me to know that it is not my go to game for a fun single player or multiplayer experience (it is amongst other fun titles rather than ahead of them where I would like its experience to be for me)
