I know this could/should be added to the wild Halo 2 speculation thread but my head is filled with bees and I just want to get this written down so everyone can tear it to shreds:

Halo was designed and constructed. It's artificial but remarkably similar to Earth (breathable atmosphere, rivers, winter climate, etc). In fact in early versions of the unreleased game there were dinosaurs. It was also a vastly powerful explosive device, and "installation 3" possibly of 7. Covenant invaded it by land to gain control of it. We believe they will invade Earth in H2 because of the "New Mombasa" footage. Could Earth be a larger and more powerful version of Halo, but we just don't know it ?
On "Attack on the Control Room" the control room is (as Cortana describes it) "in that large pyramid structure". And if there's any strength left in the Egypt connection, I know pharoahs (phonetically similar to Forerunner) were buried with things they'd need for their journey in the afterlife (including pots of honey). Also the God of the underworld in Egyptian mythology (Anubis) was a JACKAL-headed biped. And on the ilovebees website one of the interesting facts is that bees were often used to guard treasure/tombs.

Further ramblings (sorry about it) on the ilovebees - the cat is called Farnsworth. A quick search on google suggests that Farnsworth is the modern-day inventor of Fusion reactors which make vast amounts of explosive energy from everyday natural stuff. Like seawater and leaves and . . . .stuff. Oh - and Egyptians revered cats.

FInally (I think) in the prologue to one of the levels in Halo (Attack on the Control room?), I am sure that Cortana says the structure of the Halo is honeycombed. The ancestors of bees are forerunners ?
If this should have been posted elsewhere then I'm sorry - just can't think straight since ilovebees hijacked my entire morning.
