Subject: No more firefight

I'm the cult of personality,
I call it like i see it, if i feel the need to be blunt and to the point, then i will, if i feel the need to be very detailed, i will, im here to stay and im here to do things my way, if you respect that or not is your choice, not mine,
and don't worry, while i don't agree with everyone's opinion, i do respect everyone's opinion.

I want the mode. I also want more options and maps to go with it.

But I don't want it removed.

I think, as some other people said, it would be cool to build a whole new map and fight off waves of aliens wanting to kill you.

"Warthog here, barricade here, turret here. Oh and two hunters over here."

Sounds fun huh?

Even if you don't use it, a lot of ppl (including me) would really enjoy it. I enjoy firefight, and I'd enjoy to see how Bungie expands on it.

why would they take firefight and put in a whole other game that would be like taking halo3s campaign and adding it along with reaches campaign reach would have to be the same kind of gameplay as odst you probaly couldnt be a spartan.

if you set enemy spawn points then it would lead to boring spawn killing at least 20 should be placed along with random spawn times so you ont know where they will come from

Wherever you roam
so far from home
you'll be safe from peril
life threatening and terrible
if you avoid David Powel
and keep track of your towel.

They should add Forge for Firefight, maybe make so it's like a normal multiplayer gametype and have it on any multiplayer map.

Of course, most maps would be designed principally for adversarial multiplayer and only a few would be designed heavily for Firefight.

ISU Cyclones!

I just think the mode just moves along too slowly. Far too often it just seems like an un-fun grind through sameness after about half an hour of it. I like the skulls being added but it seemed that the pace of the waves, rounds and sets is just too slow.

Someone on the first page talked about adding more stuff in the Haloverse and I think that is a must. I don't think a map with a Scorpion could be balanced very well but it could happen. What I'd like is for firefight to really feel like everything in the Covenant is against you. Scarab and Wraiths on a huge map anyone?

Maybe I will never be
All the things that I wanna be
But now is not the time to cry
Now's the time to find out why
I think you're the same as me
We see things they'll never see
You and I are gonna live forever

I really hope they do!
Firefight is awesome!

I'm one with the warrior inside. The evidence can't be denied. The entire world will stare. Into this battlefield tonight. As I stand before you with a warrior's heart now. I can feel the strength that will Ensure my victory this time

I probably wouldn't buy Reach if Firefight wasn't in it. Same go's for Forge. But I would absolutely love to see customizable Firefight maps. BUT, when playing on FF maps the community has made, there will be no Matchmaking incorperated. In other words, only Friends can join. The ability to place enemies could be an interesting factor, but the game would need a balancing ability to make it so the AIs still have a chance. Also, bringing in the Flood would introduse an entirely new challenge, as the Infection Forms could Re-Animate Covenant (And Your) corpses. And there need to be more power weapons on the bigger maps, so that you have a better chance at survival. Add in the ability to play as a Spartan OR an ODST, and give each one advantages and disadvantages.

This is my idea for FF in Reach, but overall I want FF in Reach.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

Firefight was a great idea in ODST, and with a new game that can be adjusting during development to make the most of the idea I think it would only get better. Considering they would have more time behind this one as well it stands to reasons that there would be more options to be had.

Being 100% awesome, 110% of the time.

The only thing I found wrong with firefight was that you had to find your own team to play with.

if you have any questions about halo i am one of the few people on this site who will gladly help you. Even though this account has been active for only a year, my past accounts go all the way back to 2002.

I liked firefight at first but after while it gets boring and I hope they don't put it in REACH but what do you think.

if you don't like it you dont have to play it but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be in the game dumbass because quite honestly you are part of a vast minority.

I think they should, but I think it'll have to be updated.

Yeah ultra updated. Its just not fun. Horde is so much better and that came out last year! Firefight has little variety, if they bring it back for reach, they'll need more vehicles, different vehicles, more weapons etc. Especially some hands-on stuff like on last resort where you shoot a bride down but alot more elaborate.

"You have a lot of questions. I'm going to assume that they're all hypothetical." - Urk

Id also add the ability to save in single player firefight matches, make it so that there are a lot more enemies coming for you at once, maybe even a time limit before the next wave arrives (so that enemies pile up)
