Every time you sneeze into an open Febreze portal the boner-tree drive shaft will spin into ketchup. But it doesn't stop at the number two pizza bell, not even close. It continues into the seventy eight minute long pile of green, sobbing cheese trains with no more butter, but more like the steak owed the tin cans some lovin'.

You realise the netcode tells the game to render that?No it doesn't. It sends data between consoles so that they all know where everyone is and what everyone's doing in the match. The graphics and netcode are unrelated.
But how hard the engine is working to process everything can still slow the game down, right? I would think that higher res graphics along with particles and other variables would strain the engine to the point where it could possibly lag more...
Or do I have no clue at all what I'm talking about?In this case, the hardware wouldn't be able to run everything fast enough and the frame rate would drop, which can be called lag, but it's not a type of lag that's related to the network connection. This would still happen with offline games.
