A real test of a man is if he is willing to scrape a sharpened razor up and down his junk just to please a woman.

No, i would not like this because people would just start with the best weapon possible and not use anything else. For example, if there was a sniper class or heavy weapons class, who would chose anything else? The game would become boring because of all the spawn kills that would happen with those classes.
All the classes would have to be balanced out for this to be implemented, and you would have known that if you had actually READ.
Sounds good. Another year has been added on to balance out and diversify the classes.
The thing is, class-based games aren't easy. If one was in Reach, i would want to see it be like TF2. No two classes are the same in that game, with many standing in stark contrast (Medic, Spy, Engineer are like nothing else), and even the ones that are semi-similar have massive difference. Yet they all maintain balance. If find myself playing as nearly every class in that game, and if i do well as any, i am rewarded well. Sure, medic-soldier is a little unbalanced, but there's nothing like a good spy to suddenly take them out, or a pyro to eliminate the medic from the equation.
To make this true in Halo, power weapons would have to removed/balanced, and the weapon pool would have to be massively widened with medium power weapons. Along with a few traits to make diversity, this idea simply isn't very feasable for a simple side gametype.Bungie has the Hottness, they can do anything.
