As all of you forum users know, this is the final game in the Halo Trilogy. This is going to truly be a masterpiece on Bungie's part. One thing that has always been missing a little bit... Playing as Covenant. Many games have an alternate story mode or campaign in which you play as the opposing faction and living the missions through a different point of view all leading up to the inevitable ending. We've had a small taste of playing as the Covenant in the beginning of Halo 2. Imagine fighting along with allied Covenant grunts, jackals, hunters, and maybe even brutes, engineers, and drones against waves of defensive UNSC forces. Everyone enjoyed being able to at least control Covenant forces in Halo Wars, but that game didn't have quite the magic that Bungie creates in their first person shooters.

Of course you would most likely play as an elite. Elites have always been the most interesting, free thinking, and round Covenant species. We can only wait to see what Bungie has racked up for us. But feel free to give them your opinion by answering the poll or posting :D

They could just interwind the Covenant campaign into the UNSC campaign like they did in Halo 2. It would be cool if they had both sides to the same battle or if you traveled through some of the same areas as both Covenant and UNSC. maybe the second time it is destroyed or damaged

That makes sense too. But when you play an interwound campaign you feel less of a sense of loyalty towards your goal. You'd be forced to keep swapping your own reason for fighting every level.

Not really. All you have to do is find your way to the next part and shoot anything in your way. Basic Campaign mindset.
True.. especially considering a majority of Halo players play the game just because they like the gameplay. But hey, there's quite a few people like me who like the trilogy's story too :)

Rawr Im a dino!

well instead of missions just switching off. I'd like a two full campaigns on each side. They would just be in a different perspective. Im pretty sure there is a part in the books when John and some other spartans hijack some banshees and bring a bomb to a covie cruiser. Well Id like to be in the spartan perspective and maybe an important elites perspective. When unsc youd have to arm it and run. While as the covies youd have to run. Either way it will blow up.
