Halo 3: ODST = $30

I would like to see huge battles in the Halo multiplayer universe. For example have 25 vs 25 planting several bombs, capturing multiple flags etc. I know I am in the minority in this topic but I just don't like slayer. It's like killing for no reason. I need a reason lol.

I want maps to be so big that you can't see the other teams base even if you're zoomed all the way with the sniper. They could have mountains and underground caves and have 4 or 5 warthogs (or some new vehicles hopefully!) shooting it out in the center. I could just imagine what my surround sound would sound like in that scenario!

Also a word on multiplayer AI...

If possible, it would be cool to have AI defending a flag or protecting a Chieftain VIP in multiplayer. But they would have to be EXTREMELY smart in order for it to work.

I wouldn't mind if firefight gets dropped in favor of this. I am kind of bored of firefight (I'm bored with ODST in general).

And finally the Halo maps I want to return:
Lockout
BLOOD GULCH
Hang Em' High
The Pit
High Ground
Midship
Avalanche
Ghost Town
Isolation
Warlock

That sounds like it would take a lot to process.

Halo 3: ODST- 1.3 Million points. Campaign completed on Legendary.
Halo Wars- Private. Campaign completed on Normal.
Halo 3- Colonel grade 3. Campaign completed on Legendary.
Halo 2- Corporal grade 1. Campaign completed on Normal.
Halo CE- Campaign completed on Normal.

Lol ps3 maybe.
The xbox might beable to handle 16vs16 if bungie put there effort into it.
Although that would be awesome enough :).

Steven

If PS3 can handle 256 players(MAG), perhaps the xbox can handle half that much? I'm no expert but i would hope its possible. Unfortunately, i would bet we wont see this in reach. It would be awsome though.

Halo 3: ODST = $30

I know it would be near impossible but I've been wanting this since before the release of Halo 2. Oh well all we can do is hope and wait.

Clearly because the desktop uses a 3 prong plug and a laptop uses a 2 prong plug, the microwave will fill your car with tostitos better

More people + Wonderful planning on Bungie's part = Great success.

The only reason MAG can handle 256 players is because the graphics are rudimentary for this generation, there is very little objects controlled by a physics engine in-game, and all the games are hosted on zipper's dedicated servers, which are exponentially faster than any of the connections that wind up hosting Halo matchmaking games (because the host is a player on their parent's comcast/verizon connection).

So long as Bungie sticks with the matchmaking model and player-based hosting, we will likely never see more than 16 player battles, and they've made it very clear that matchmaking is returning in Reach.

This is the same stink thats going on with the removal of dedicated servers in the PC version of Modern Warfare 2.
