As an extra feature in reach's campaign, I want to be able to wear your MP armor in Campaign (only after compleating the game and unlocking something). When your in the lobby, it would ask you. If playing co-op, and you player answers yes, and the other answers no, then it would have you and the chief playing campaign. If solo, in the cutscenes when your character says something, you will make your own voice. You woud use this voice throughout the game, like how in ODST, you hear hard breathing from your character, you would hear your spartan doing that. Thoughts?

Maybe, like only once you've completed Campaign on Legendary or something.

Eat raw meat.
Punch a bear in the face.

If you don't know who I am, the feeling is mutual.

Wait, "make your own voice?" What?

Because Muslims surgically implant organic bombs in their testicles, which in turn will be injected into women during sex, which will grow into BABY BOMBS!

I only want canon things in campaign.

It would be cool looking, but I say no, because the Armor Selections for the timeline of Reach was limited, and using multiplayer armor wouldn't fit the storyline.

Armors, all of them, are canon.

Yes, but I don't want to be able to choose armor in campaign because that isn't canon.

Will, actually, there would be at least five, ODST, Mk V, the good Mk VI, MK IV, Security, and I think Hayabusa, it's the Japanese counterpart, so probably. Elites would have a ton, but then again, there wouldn't be elites on your team. And likely some new ones.

How isn't a person switching out of armor canon. I could easily do it, it's possible, this sentence is worthless.(Mine, not yours.)

Spartans don't use ODST helmets, that's purely for multiplayer and MK VI wasn't fully invented yet.

^^above post-What would be the point of switching armor in a battle situation. The Spartans didn't carry extra armor parts anyway. Some Spartans did get MK VI parts for their armor but that was in CASTLE Base which was an ONI facility with a lot of equipment.

So different armor isn't canonical but having two chief/arbiters in first two halo games is?

It's 2552, that's when it was invented. You can't prove the ODST helmet thing.

MK V was given to the Spartans 1 day before the Battle of Reach. None of them had MK VI(it was still being tested).
As for the ODST helmets, what would be the point of Spartans using them? They aren't made out of the same materials as the MJOLNIR armor so it would melt pretty fast.

Nihilism (from the Latin nihil, nothing) is a philosophical position that argues that existence is without objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value.

Put simply in the words of Nietzsche as "the will to nothingness".

I was on track with you until you said make your own voice, that's retarded.

Never mind I'm retarded. But switching armor could be canon. Like, there's special outposts in certain places where that would let you magically have security.

I like the foundation of your idea, but it has some flaws.

I have a feeling multiplayer and campaign will be vastly different. I think it should work somewhat like the ODST discs did. I think there should be two separate character customizations - one for multiplayer, one for campaign.

Also, people have to remember that this customization option does not need to be canon by any means. This is simply to customize your character and make it yours in the story. Regardless, it's merely cosmetic and would not act any differently than default.

Also, commenting for a previous post in this thread, one person said it's not canon to have two chiefs/arbiters. He's referring to co-op.

If you play co-op in the first two games at least, both of you would be the same character, playing through the campaign. Correct, that would not be canon. I'm not here to argue who's right or wrong, much less take sides, but it is true in a sense.

OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

I'd love to hear the my MC on Reach to say This game needs more guitar wank." after dying. But alas, it's highly unlikely that it will happen.

what's the point?

the story in H3 wouldnt make sense if it was some random spartan out there, i mean, the entire point of campaign is to have a STORY, right? how can you have a story with random characters? it wouldn't make sense.

and how!

Only upon completing Legendary Co-Op.

After all, wearing different armor variants would be non canon, but technically so are different difficulty levels ;D

If your worried about canon, don't switch your armor. Happy tards? I'd prefer the option.
