In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

Originated In Halo 2, the Blue Tint to the Menus has become sort of a Halo tradition. It appears in Halo 2, Halo 3 and in Halo Wars. I personally think that the Menu of Halo: Combat Evolved (Music and Image) was much more epic than the common blue tinted skyline pan that we see today. Do you think Bungie should continue with this?
My Idea for Halo: Reach is a regular pan (no tints) in space looking down and/or rotating around Reach, if you wait long enough (mabye around 2 minutes or so) you'll see the planet getting glassed with a covenant fleet moving in.
Would you like a menu like this?
What are your idea? The idea is nice, but first think back to Halo 1. While the whole screen isn't blue, the menu and options are. The back ground is the Halo ring, and is dominated by bluish and other cool colors. It's part of the Halo signature, so-to-speak.
The menu screen is not supposed to be a grand work of art, but something simple to keep the eye interested before people begin playing a game. There are severely boring start screen out there, but Bungie seems the know how to keep it at least appealing.
On a side note, the ODST start screen was not blue tinted.
