Should Halo Reach have SpecOps missions? Here's what these missions can allow for...
SpecOps shouldn't include any pre-existing missions from same game, altered or not. That's what the skulls are for. I sincerely agree there should be scenario SpecOps missions that can even be based off of the older Halo games however.
Here are some SpecOps Missions examples:
- Protect Captain Keyes
- Invade the Covenant ship and defeat the Prophet
- Kill all Covenant within a time limit within Halo's core to stop Halo from activating
- Survive a horde of Flood without health packs/regeneration
- Infiltrate and blow up a Covenant cruiser as a lesser UNSC officer than as played in Campaign
If this is set as unlockables, then it HAS to be difficult to unlock them. SpecOps missions can also be downloadable content later on.
Also, I think this should have the availability to play in multiplayer. Some SpecOps missions can allow for more players than others. For example, "survive a horde flood" could allow for more players than "infiltrate a covenant cruiser".
