I thought of a great idea for the new Halo Reach multiplayer game mode. Let me know what you guys think.
This game mode would be in the Social Playlist
There is a MASSIVE map. WAY bigger than any map in the previous games. The map keeps repeating itself and is never ending. When you reach the end of the map, it just restarts itself creating a boundary-less level. (Sort of similar to video game Grand Theft Auto).
The player creates a party, and depending on how many people are in the party, is allowed a certain amount of money to purchase weapons, vehicles, power-ups, etc. With these items, the player can now enter the game and is free to roam around the level and battle other players. There would be open field, towering cities, dense forests, and . All the unique aspects of the level would combine to create a diverse gaming experience for the players involved. For example, A party of five people can each buy a sniper and post up in the top of one of the buildings, picking off clueless players roaming around the level.
In this game mode, there is no winner or loser. There is no time limit or score. It is a continuous game, running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At any given time, there are tens of thousands of people playing (all on one huge, never ending level).
The Halo series has been one of the most successful games in history. I think that this idea would put it in a level of its own. No other game offers something like this. It could make Halo Reach the best game ever.
Thank you
