In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

Wouldn't it melt the minds of the people who haven't read the Halo books (Who must hate good Science Fiction or need more money for more good books) to include a character so important in the novels, but completely unmentioned in the games?No... none of the new characters in Halo Wars confused anyone. No new ones in Halo Reach will either, even if they showed up in the novels first (like Truth and Tartarus did)If you pay attention to the Halo 3 Cortana flash in's, particularly as you get close to gravemind, you can here her make referance to the fact that all of her memorys are stolen from the brain she was made form aka the good doctor's flash cloned brain.I would say use a young Jen Taylor for a young Dr.Hasley. AI's (smart AI's) get to choose there own form and I think Cortana is a image of her in her prime.I agree using Jen Taylor again, but remember, by the time Halo: Reach takes place Halsey is an old woman of 60 years.
