SPEND MORE TIME ON YOUR GAMES BUNGIE!!1!

Its far to late to complain about this now; but as a concerned halo fan, I have been very frustrated with the lack of time bungie has spent on the their video games. Starting with halo 2; the games have seemed 'rushed' to me. (super short campaigns, lack of creativity in both the games aesthetics and game play, weird plot flaws,etc...)

Im not trying to troll, Im just hoping halo: Reach will... well... be the best game ever made forever, and overtake half life 2 in being the most 'seemless' and 'well made' video game i have ever seen... And I can only see this happening if Bungie spends more time developing their games...

They've been developing reach since late 2007...

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

'Tis a 3 year project my fine boy. That does not constitute rushing.

Dude I don't care and my grammer is perfect.I used "Big", as you recall it to mak is specific."to not do...",is incorrect beause "do" is present tense/perfect(or future) when it was a past tense.

Bungie has been developing Halo: Reach since Halo 3 came out...
A little bit before, even.

Well that does make me feel a little better... though 3 years is still on the short side for a good game. I would certainly wait another 2 years for the perfect halo game.... I like meat medium-rare, but games well-done

This guy nailed it---For ALL of this to happen, the development cycle will have to be long.

tucker your right, 3 years is a long time... though 3 years is also about how long most games take. I'm suggesting five years because all the 'best made' games I can think of took five years to develop (Mass Effect, Half Life 2's, Oblivion)

All our dreams come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.
The friend in my adversity I shall always cherish most. I can better trust those who helped to relieve the gloom of my dark hours than those who are so ready to enjoy with me the sunshine of my prosperity.

lol

oblivion had only one good thing. An open world where you can pick up almost anything and NPCs with endless dialog.

All Bestheda games fail for one reason. The gameplay sucks. I played Morrowind and gasped at the openess. Then I pulled out my sword to kill my first enemy. Hack hack hack. Basically uses only one or 2 animations. Very boring and uninnovative. Then I played oblivion with my hope of some vast improvement. No basically the same thing

Fallout 3 their best game even has this boring gameplay. I will admit the nuke weapons are very appealing. Alien blaster is decent. But the melees are still bad. The weapons have crappy controls with the same crappy reticule for every gun.

VATS saved it a little with some cool bullet time aiming. But the quickness of gameplay isnt really there. This is why I think borderlands is a better game, gameplay wise.

Would be nice to have a borderland gameplay with a fallout backdrop

I have yet to see a bestheda game to deliver good action and great gameplay.

Didn't say it was good, I said it was "best made". I think that the time the developers put in their game was evident. The elder scrolls series has the most complicated plots ever, yet I don't believe there was a single plot hole... Personally I thought the game was 'ok' 7.5/10

As you say quite boring gameplay wise

but then to compare a game that plays like an action movie as opposed to a game that plays like an RPG is very different

So instead of bungie playing around with dialog options they have to deal with multiplayer issues. Such as lag, host, large servers. The effects of a small game vs a large game

How adding a new weapon in a game can cause other components to glitch. And then they have to go and fix them. Numerous gameplay testing to see if its fair for people to play vs each other.

No I don't see the hardwork as much when it fails in gameplay. You put so much time into it and you can't make the one mechanic that is most vital for the game to be enjoyable?

The AIs are almost non existant. Thats why they wont dodge your slow fireballs. The only thing an oblivion AI knows to do is charge or shoot bows until you get close enough and then it will switch to a dagger.

Just saying oblivion always seemed more of a chore to play then actual fun.

Bungie could make a better game then Oblivion in 2 months

In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

You know, most games take about 2-3 years to make. There are exceptions, but this applies for the majority of games we play now.
