One day... I am gonna grow wings... A chemical reaction... Hysterical and useless... hystecial and let down and hanging around... crushed like a bug in the ground.

The day Reach was attacked. August the 30th

How to spell "space"?

S-P-ACE! SPACE!

Good idea.

ODST was released on the date of the destruction Installation 04... so I see why you think so.

Halo 3: ODST = $30

But the September 3rd is on a Friday. Halo has always been released on a Tuesday (99% of games are).

Yeah

Lets hope Bungie can change that for a 1 off.

In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

Fall doesn't start until near the end of September. Sorry.

Why are most games released on Tuesdays?

Sales/rental figures and music are released on Mondays in the business world. So, for games and DVD releases, it only makes sense to release on a Tuesday to allow a full week of sales to maximize the numbers printed the next monday.

Oh... I wish they were released Fridays, that way we could play more, sooner.

Releasing on a Friday isn't going to ensure you can play sooner. In the same week, a Tuesday would all you to play more, soon, rather than a Friday.

I think what you mean is "I wish they released Fridays so I don't have to hear about other who get to play before me"

(No offense, I hope.)

August 30th doesn't work either. The game releases in Fall of 2010, as in, after September 22nd (or the 21st. I don't know which date fall starts on next year). Probably the best estimate I've heard was early to mid November.

well that works but probably not Mid November... probably, Late September-Mid October sounds right.

but then again counting the latest halo games have both been in September im going for September 28th

Well, the estimate was based off some strange profiles on B.net.

It started with one named "Superintendant", which, according to the account, last played 9/25/09, the release date of ODST. Two others profile of a similar nature (I can no longer find them), had a date in March of 2010 (the likely start date of the Reach beta), and a November date.
